Blue Wave NS120 24-ft Round Above-Ground Pools 8 mil Solar Blanket, Feet

We do not have a heater on our pool, so we needed something. I ordered the 24’ round and it fit our 24’ pool perfectly! It definitely helped raise the temp a couple degrees when the nights stayed warm, but now that the nights are getting cooler, it isn’t keeping the temp up. It still helps with keeping the pool clean. Glad we got it!

We bought this cover for our above the ground pool in Massachusetts, since the water is generally too cold for our toddler to enjoy it. It does the trick (although, of course, after a couple of cloudy or rainy days, the water temperature goes down again). In any case, it warms up the water considerably, especially the top feet, by trapping the heat under it. We usually run the pump for a few minutes before swimming so the warm water is distributed evenly around the pool. Otherwise, you have pockets of really warm water (similar to a hot tub, which I love), and pockets of "cool" water.It is easy to take off and put back on after swimming, and one person alone can do it. I usually take the cover off myself from the ladder steps, without getting all the way in the water (I stand on the first ladder step). Then, we put it back on while in the water, just before getting out the pool when we are done for the day.Overall, we are satisfied with the blanket and would purchase it again.

So far in the middle of April it’s doing the job.

Alittle difficult to setup with just 3 people as the directions state. Finally got it up and filled and so far so good. Would go with wider rails on the next one as these seem alittle flimsy but overall very happy

This was a piece of junk. It’s so so thin. Sounds like a foam egg carton when trying to roll it up and ends up wading up in a big mess.

Cover is very sturdy. Have had for 3 weeks. Survived several rainstorms and never flew off the pool and stayed in place. Pool was 88 degrees after a few days of Ohio weather. A little excessive but easy fix to leave cover off when needed. It takes my husband and I to properly remove the 24ft cover off the pool so we're not dragging it. All the bubbles are intact I hope to get a few summers out of it.

We have used this cover for an entire Michigan Summer and it has worked well. This cover is much more durable than our previous solar covers and reasonably priced for the durability. It shows no signs of weather, cracking or distress after being in full sun all summer. We have been able to open the pool much earlier and leave it open later since it provides a few extra degrees of warmth. We will store it for the winter and utilize our winter cover. We look forward to many more summers of warm pool water!

IT came way too big,I had to cut 4 inches off and there is still a lot of cover. Also there was a 2 inch tear in it. i've dealt with this on another solar cover and its ridiculous what they want you to go through. So it got cut off anyway.

We bought it in April of 2022, and it's torn to pieces now. Used it for the summer of 2022, removed and put it away for the winter. Put it back on in May of 2023 and had to buy a new one in July of 2023. It came apart when pulling on it like wet paper towel.

Over priced, thin, and would be shocked if it last the season, let alone 3. Will be taking advantage of their warranty. Will update if blanket or warranty fails. On the up side, we were able to get something. Standards are getting low...

It does it’s job.We are not pool professionals, but apparently water temperature went up higher after we started use this cover.For more durability and better result, you can order 12mm, but for us, it was good.For the size, it fits exactly in our 24 feet pool, not even one extra inch.So if someone is expecting a Overfit size, than you should order one size bigger, as advised by other reviewers already.

Disappointed int the material. The size is perfect for my pool, the blanket itself is probably half the thickness as my old one that lasted me for years. After using for two months I noticed quite a few of the bubbles have lost their thin plastic backing. Buyer beware, I should have returned when I realized how thin the material was.

Found this solar blanket to be much thinner than I expected. I would by a thicker one next time.
