Gold's Gym Trainer 720 Treadmill

I love this treadmill. I am 5’4 and 250lbs and find this treadmill overall comparable to a commercial gym treadmill. I feel safe and secure while walking or jogging on this. I would and have already recommended this treadmill to my friends and family.Shipping: I received this product on time. The package was pretty beat up on the edges when I got it but after opening it up nothing was broken or damaged at all.Assembling: Unpackaged this unit was more work than putting it together. After unwrapping and removing all the pieces I was sweating. I did have help assembling the rest of the treadmill but could have done it on my own. Took about an hour combined from the moment I opened the package to fully assembled. It was nice having help to hold the arms and console in place as I screwed them in. I received everything I needed, parts and tools, the only additionally thing you need is a Philips screwdriver.Using: The fan like all the other reviews stated is weak but comparable to the gym treadmills I have used. This wide belt makes me feel safe while walking or jogging. The arms and console are stable as I jog on this. My machine was noisy at first until I noticed the belt was off center, after a quick fix of that its noise level is very low, low enough were I can watch TV at a reassembly level still.The pre programmed workout options are great to use and the incline of the machine is impressive. The machine does not work until the emergency stop magnet is in place and if it is disengaged the machine stops immediately, which is nice, but does not save your workout data.I have not used the music AUX and speakers since I use my TV for music. And I have not move the machine since I set it up. I also do not fold my machine up since I have used it daily since I got it, but I did make sure the hold lever worked. I find that I am uncertain that the one lever alone could hold the weight of the machine over a period of time. They should have installed one on each side.Update:. Still love this machine and no problems, however it has begun to have a load squeaky nosie as I walk or run on it. Not sure if it just needs some maintenance or oil. And if so not sure how to do that.

So far, so good! Treadmill is assembled and working, no issues with loudness or weird smells.Packaging was really damaged on delivery, but one small dent in the frame of the left upright and a tiny mark on the belt was all we got from that, thankfully, but seriously this item is a tough delivery!The box is HUGE, it's very heavy too - I talked the delivery guys into taking it down the side of my house to the back door to the basement, where the treadmill is being used, and they did it - phew - no idea how I would have gotten it from my garage to there without serious help.WHAT I LIKE SO FAR:- very sturdy- wide walking / running belt (20 x 54 approx.)- easy to adjust belt if it's not running in the middle (easier than my last treadmill)- digital display is at the top of the display area (which means if you have an iPad etc resting on the stand part, you can see the digital part still)- Aux port for sound is awesome for things like Couch to 5K (C25K app for newbie runners!) - I plug in my iPhone and I hear the voice tell me when to start running etc.What I don't like as much:- the packaging over the belt and uprights area was bad.- you can fold it, but it's so heavy it's not really practical for me.- the speakers are REALLY loud - so obviously you don't have to use these BUT I have my iPhone plugged in and the sound set to just 1!- some of the assembly instructions could have been better written.

Let me tell you right now, if you are looking for a treadmill for walking only, stop looking and buy this one right now. We had been looking at getting a treadmill for a few years and were not sure about buying through Amazon because of delivery and putting it together. The delivery was fantastic and about as fast as you could expect for a large and heavy item that requires scheduled delivery. It does weigh almost 200 pounds though, and is a large box, so be prepared. The treadmill is packaged so well that half of the time spent putting it together was just removing all of the packing material. It did take about 2 hours to build, a few steps requiring a second person, but you do not need to do anything with the tread itself thankfully!! Also, let me say, you do not need to buy the Amazon recommended silicone spray. One of the big instructions is to not use this spray at all for this treadmill. Buy the recommended pad to put the treadmill on, but not the spray.Now on to actually using the treadmill. Like I said before this is only for walking. If you plan to run or jog you need to look above $1000 for a good treadmill. My wife and I only use this for walking, no more than 4 MPH, and about 30-45 minutes at a time. It has been used a couple times every day for the first couple weeks though and we have had no problems. This is a great, basic treadmill that will help us keep up our walking routine during the cold months or the rainy days. We highly recommend this to anyone wanting to walk inside. Just Buy It Now!

This is a very nice treadmill with some good features. Assembly was easy and was able to complete the task alone. It is a two man lifting job unless you are Hodor.Things I like about the treadmill:- Long running deck- Easy assembly- Quick select buttons for speed and incline- 2 speed fan- Simple displayThings I don't like:- It is squeaking after running less than 50 total miles (I could probably adjust it but I'm too tired after running)- Have I mentioned its very freaking heavy- The motor does not increase speed linearly when starting, it surges then slows then picks up (more of an exponential gain).Overall, I am satisfied so far and hope it lasts a few years.

Es fuerte, un poco ruidosa. Pero llegó incompleta. Faltan los apoyos de las manos.Soy varias compras que o los productos están dañados o mal fabricados o no funcionan. Es una lastima porque es buen producto.No me gustó la forma en que se pliega. Se resbala y la plancha se golpea.
