Great product!
Great product!!!!!! Have it connected to my Spypoint 12V Rechargable Battery which has been in the woods for a few months. The Spypoint battery has been through -20 degree weather and being buried under 3 feet of snow for a month. Camera has sent me tons of pictures and battery is reading 98% charged. The Solar Panel doesn't get direct sunlight but for maybe 30 minutes a day and even when the sun wasn't out at all for a week it kept the battery charged and never fell below 90%.

Seems to work great upon installation, "But not time tested yet".
Bought this & the 12 volt rechargeable battery pac to keep my Spypoint Trail Cam self sufficient. It has not been time tested yet, however the day after I installed them the battery level was up to 13.41 volts but had only taken a few pics though. i have considerable canopy of trees but it seems to get adequate sun-light to keep the charge. It doesn't appear to need to get a great deal of "Direct Sun Rays", just as the manufacturer claims.

This was a very easy install. It has kept my battery fully charged for the past few months. I will buy a second one.

Spypoint solar panel provides extended camera operation.
This solar panel kit is well made and feels heavy; owing to the stout construction of the frame and mounting. The measured current is adequate to keep a medium sized gel battery fully charged on most cameras. Provides good power even with Wisconsin's variable sunshine. The panel to camera cord could be longer, but is easy to add on to (after the warranty expires). This is not a good choice for lithium batteries; it's a solar panel, but not a smart charger.

Unit proved unreliable
My panel proved unreliable! I purchased it Jan 2017 and it didnt even last 6 months. It would not provide enough charge to keep the spypoint rechargeable batteries in my camera unit going. I should have stated this when I first noticed the problem but spaced it out. I had it mounted in an area with clear view of the sun. When I plugged it to a multimeter to check it's power out, I was not even getting 1vdc. Checked all connections to no avail.

About the only thing I've gotten from spypoint worth buying but as usual really overpriced

great charger
Set this up to my stealth camera 12 volt battery pack, put in the back yard with 2 hyper dogs. Set the camera to take 9 pics every min, have taken over 5000 in the past 3 weeks and the pack is still charged. The tripod is a good idea but could have been built a little better take care when putting it togather. Overall this will work for me and plan to get another for my 2nd camera.
