Two Flaws Limit an Otherwise Good Smart Watch
I mainly wanted a smart watch so I could easily find out who is calling and answer it if need be. I need to be able to it to talk on the watch due to my tremors with Parkinson's making it difficult to hold a phone to my ear. This inexpensive watch has a lot of functionality for the price, However, most of it I would rarely use for reasons I'll mention below. That said, it gets three stars for two major problems that make it practically unusable for me.Pros: Plenty of functionality, low price point, effectively allows calls to show ID on screen and answer them, you can make calls from the watch, read text messages, play music off your phone--which surprisingly sounded louder and better than I expected for a smart watch at this price point--, looks nice even though using cheap materials to keep the price down, and of the functions I used, it worked with the exceptions noted below.Cons:1. The biggie that limits the usefulness of this watch is the short battery life. I'm not a heavy user. Even answering the phone once or twice and being careful not to leave the screen on much, a single charge might last half a day. If you're a heavy user, expect to be recharging this watch several times a day. Putting it into power saving mode seemed to help, but still could not get through a full day on one charge. This is why one wouldn't want to use the other functions: it will run the battery down even faster. My wife noticed the battery take a dive as soon as she started playing music through it. This unit needs much more battery power to be practically useful.2. The second big problem for me was the in-call volume. Despite the max volume sounding loud when playing music, to hear someone talking through the watch on a call required putting the phone up to my ear, especially if there was any other noise going on. But even in a quiet room, it wasn't loud enough to hear well unless the speaker was close to my ear. The microphone, on the other hand, worked great. I could be heard clearly even with my arm hanging by my side. I made sure the call volume on both my phone and the watch were at maximum, still the other person sounded small and distant. This problem greatly reduces the usefulness of the watch. Especially for someone like me that has trouble holding something to my ear while preventing me from using my normal bluetooth ear piece. This problem alone means I'm not likely to keep using this watch.3. The "manual" that came with mine had several problems. One, it was written on a small folded paper in very tiny print. I had to use a magnifying glass to make it easier to read. Two, the instructions are not written by someone who knows English. Reads more like they ran the Chinese version through Bubblefish. They used strange words and constructions that left me guessing what was meant or how to do something. Which is why it took me forever to figure out how to find the in-call volume to see its settings and adjust if need be. Three, the instructions were incomplete and/or outdated. The instructions given to get BT Notifier put on your phone had me installing a program in Chinese with no idea how to get the English version. I finally found the right one on the Google Play store, with no thanks to the instructions. Four, there was no online version of the manual to be found. I eventually figured out how to get it set up and going, but it took some experiments and guessing at what the manual was saying to do it.4. Some minor annoyances, like when it disconnects from the phone's bluetooth, it usually doesn't automatically reconnect once back in range, and plugging it in to charge all night and waking up to find it isn't charged even though it had shown it was being charged. None of those are deal breakers, but means I've got to deal with them on occasion. So while I can see who's calling without getting my phone out, I can't easily talk to them. Nor can I expect a nightly charge to last me for the whole day, meaning unless I can find a way to charge it mid-day, it becomes a useless item strapped around my wrist for the rest of the day. If the call volume and battery life were better, I could make it work for what I need. Thus the reason this gets 3 stars instead of 4 or 5.So close, yet so far.

Confessions of a Windows Phone addict
Smartwatches for Windows phones are rare. There's the Microsoft Band 2 and the Pebble Smartwatch and that's about it. The Band 2 is more of a high tech sports tracker then a watch and but the Pebble is an actual watch. Even though the Pebble is on sale for $70 I couldn't justify the money without knowing if I really want a watch that does more then tell the time. Hence my purchase of this generic Chinese "smartwatch".One cannot expect much from any watch that costs less then $20 especially a small computer watch. I am also aware that most functions are not going to work when using a Windows Phone. For me it was worth the risk.First off the watch itself looks a lot like the Apple watch but as soon as you touch it and turn it on you know immediately that they are in a different world. The band is silicone and although comfortable it will not last long. The screen is legible but has low resolution and a high black level. The screen is fairly responsive and the single button works well. The back will pop off with a small nail or screwdriver. A very flimsy door covers the micro USB charging port. You will not want to get thus watch wet.The software is more like a child's V-Tech watch. It pairs with devices easily which is its big plus. The Windows phone only allows you to make and receive calls (and it actually works) but no other notifications are possible. I tried different apps to see if I could get it work with one but I had no success. I also paired it with my android tablet to see if I could get some different watch faces but all my attempts failed. The android software for this watch was not compatible with my two year old android version. No other app would connect to the watch. The watch comes with a few bells. It has a barometer with temps that are only in celsius. A simple stop watch with no lap function. An altimeter that is about 800 feet off its mark. A pedometer that is less then worthless. A phonebook that actually downloaded my entire phonebook from my phone. There are also BT (Bluetooth) notices, music and camera which I can't access. There is an alarm that works well and can be set on vibrate or ring or both. The vibration is powerful. There is a basic calculator and a simple calendar. The sleep monitor only tells you how long you've been sleeping so it works more like a timer. There are three watch faces. Two are very very basic analog style and the other is a digital clock that also shows three menus; settings, alarm and Bluetooth. It also shows the battery power and if your connected to BT and/if your alarm is activated plus the date and day. The digital clock is military time only.Again this is a very inexpensive watch. If you purchase it knowing you're not getting much then you will probably be okay with it. This is not a Moto 360 or Apple watch so don't expect one.The battery life is about 24 hours with BT on. With it off (which is how I use it) it will last two days. There is no motion sensor so you have to hit the button to read the time. This saves battery life but is also a nuisance.I'm giving it 4 stars not because its a good watch but because it costs $20 and it was fun trying to get it to work.

Great so far!
Got it yesterday and it's working just as described. I intended this to be more of a starter smartwatch till something else comes on the market for Androids that I just can't live without but I am actually impressed so far. The only reason I gave it a four is because of the directions being so hard to read and follow but I was able to find a video about syncing and a BT Notification app that made it so easy. I did have a battery issue while I was messing with it non-stop but I really don't expect a problem with it once it is allowed to sleep. I just need notifications when I am in meetings and indend to keep my phone on a charger or safely tucked away in my purse. I will adjust my review later if it proves necessary.

Terrible battery life,
DO NOT purchase! You will waste your time and money.1. It does not come with adequate instructions on how to fully utilize its features.2. Battery life! I charged it for 8 hours and it lasted 20 minutes.3. If you dont mind an outdated time face, this is for you. It's like the cheap phone from the 90s. Entertaining, but not fully functional.4. Last complaint I will give is for the microphone. I called my husband through it and we could not understand each other as there was a delay and we each sounded muffled.I will give 1 star for how quickly it syncs with the phone, but no matter how much I play around with it, I can only use the watch to access the phone for calling and receiving message updates.
