Cup-ass-kia π
Just in case you were wondering how to pronounce this beers name a little more accurately a Polish friend helped me with the native phonetic pronunciation βcup-ass-kiaβ π.As someone who only drinks a couple of beers on Friday and Saturday night I do prefer my beers to be of adult strength and have been getting a bit fed up with the ever decreasing strength of Uk produced lager so thank the good lord for Central European imports like this. Nicely chilled for an hour this pours with a nice head and aroma, much more malty than hoppy but not overly sweet like many other strong lagers. This has become my new go to at the weekend π.

A good strong beer.
The taste is one step down from barley wine which I love. Unfortunately beers this strong have all but vanished from supermarkets and off-licences. The price is reasonable taking into account the recent tax hike. It's a heavy parcel but it comes well packed and everything was intact when I opened it. I will buy again and if you like strong beer I recommend it.

A good value, high alcohol beer
For a high alcohol beer, it is really quite smooth to drink and deceptively light. You really only notice the kick afterwards. Not quite as sophisticated as some of the high alcohol Belgium beers like Duval but for the price, it's tough to beat.

More than just a beer makes good batter, malt bread and fantastic beef stew
. This is a nice full bodied beer, with a kick. I used it also in doing a beer batter for my fish n chips. And then as water substitute in a malt loaf. Makes a good bread, just remember to heat up the bear to about 30 deg c before adding to your bread mix.Latest experiment with leftover flat beer I made a beef stew as normal but substituted water with beer, came out really nice. (sweat off onions until brown, brown beef, andd oxo cubes, beer and simmer for a few hours slow cook)
