Banks 51314 Monster Exhaust System

easy to install once i lowered the transfer case skid and cut out the original system. nice and easy instructions and easy fit. gives a nice deep, yet not too loud of a note. At idle, my 4.0 has a nice rumble and has almost the same drone as a Cummins when im at 3/4 throttle. im still running just the stock manifold and a cold air intake

Easy to install and sounds/performs well. My jeep is lifted, so I did take it to a muffler shop and have a couple bends made to clear the trackbar and skids bit only due to the lift.

Exhaust sounds amazing just a little quieter than I expected. It does get a little louder as time goes on though. Basically a couple volume notches above stock but the tone is much nicer. Has a very satisfying rumble. Everything fit well (except the tip) but the supplied clamps were not of great quality. Replaced them with stronger ones. The supplied tail pipe tip did not fit because of my factory trailer hitch so if you have a hitch you may want to look into other tip options as leaving it off will melt the hitch wiring if it's routed like mine was. Didn't really notice any improvement in mpg but did notice a little more power in 5th gear at highway speeds. All in all a great product. Looks and sounds superb. Would certainly recommend it.

Very happy with this product. We researched a lot of different systems before gong with Banks. This one had the best reviews and was competitively priced. This system givges your engine a good "growl It took longer to get the old exhaust out than it did to install the new one. All the bolt holes lined up perfect, there was no need to drill or cut anything to install the new exhaust. If you have a tow hitch on your vehicle you may not be able to use the tip that is included in this package.

Installed in about 25 mins. Sounds nice. Not overwhelming on the trail for the rig behind you. Well worth the money.

Minimal use, maybe few hundreds miles on the road since the exhaust was installed - rusted terribly, looks like crap. I'm disappointing in banks brand. the dynomax i took after the decade looked better.

The item comes in four pieces and not three. This is probably because of a design change to the product. You will not be able to install the chrome tip if you have a hitch bar, the exhaust was designed to pop out right under the rear bumper. I had to purchase an additional piece to get the pipe accessible.

Good quality, Sounds exactly like what I wanted. Would be perfect on a stock jeep. Almost unnoticeable at idle but under load nice sound. However on a dana44 with 4inch lift with a adjustable track bar and trailer hitch the tail pipe and tip are not usable. Flexing the tail pipe hits the shock. Having a exhaust shop bend up what I need for a tail pipe. Took a chance with fitment with the other mods and it didn't pan out.
