The cushion is advertised as firm and 3 1/2" thick. It may be that thick but firm it is not. I needed a 1/4" rise to see all of my dash instruments this cushion has such soft foam it provided no noticeable height increase. Not even the 1/4' inch I needed.

No better than a regular cushion
This cushion was a big disappointment because it is very soft and is no better than any other padded seat cushion available for a lot less. I expected a cushion that was a lot firmer.

Not the elevation hoped for
Goes flat when sat on it and I'm of average weight. I'm 5'2" and am tired of seeing plays and concerts through the back of someone's head but this is not the solution I had hoped for.
