It is a good starting point for your seasoning but I would NOT GO by the directions and I would definitely add some other seasoning

I recently decided to make some tamales. Have made them in the past and always ordered the masa from a nearby store to get the spicy masa. Thought I would try this mix which seasoned my park and one to season the masa. Both were delicious. Making the masa was quite simple. There's just two of us, so I only make a dozen or two at a time. Have used these spices twice and still have enough for one more small batch. Great product!

Cooked exactly like the recipe said, flavor of the meat was meh, and kinda powdery.
