Body Glove Aura Neoprene Trunks

I just received them today and my first impression before trying them on... it appeared to look as if it would fit. The material is very nice and seems like it should do what its supposed to.HOWEVER...as soon as I tried to put them on...I almost couldn't do it. I managed to get them on and they ended up being too tight. The leg area was just fine... but for some reason the crotch is kind of low for them being female shorts? The waist is the worst part it has no give at all. Let me just say that I am a petite woman. I'm 5'4 and I weigh 116lbs. I'm fairly thin and have just average curves. But when I put these on they made me feel overweight immediately. If you THINK your small enough that a medium will suffice, you better be sure. I now realize that I actually need a LARGE when a person my size should run small/medium. BUYERS BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!

For starters... this is my 2nd pair of Wetsuit shorts...My first pair was purchased brand new at a local yard sale for 25 cents and lasted me 3 years... talk about getting your money's worth for 25 cents! After 3 years the Body Glove Wetsuit "Shorts" I owned ripped and tore due to constant usage. Instead of opting to purchase a full body or half body Wetsuit I decided to buy another pair of these wetsuit shorts. (same brand/type/size) as I had before..since I figured why not stick with the same brand/product I had before, which I trust...plus it helped that I already knew my "size" ahead of time !I teach swimming and these shorts come in super handy when worn on top of the bathing suit, plus a Rash Guard and wet suit jacket (work uniform) as a double layer help to keep warm at the year round...Indoor/Outdoor pool depending on weather and season...The water temperature can be often un-reliable since standing around for 4-6 hours teaching can get cold and be a challenge sometimes...but these shorts do stretch in the water and does what they're supposed to do regarding insulation, they are super comfortable and fit me perfectly. I only wish Body Glove would make Women's Wetsuit pants...

Based on other reviews I knew this would be a perfect fit, -and remember that neoprene does stretch some and conforms to your shape when wet. The original size chart from Body Glove is actually accurate. The bike-short-like trunks are perfect for kayakers who tend to get a cold butt even in the summer, -I am sure these have saved me from a few UTIs! I would definitely recommend these.

This item was exactly what I have been looking for but it falls short in the fit category. I used the size chart to select the size and though they fit, the waist on these shorts looks like they were made for a child. The hips are fine. They do not measure what the size chart said. I recommend going one size up from what the chart says unless your waist is on the low end of the chart for the size you need.

Used to white water raft, and kept her warm. Now we will go again, since she likes them. Thank You.

like most people have reviewed. this is very tight in waist and extremely loose in thighs which makes it impossible to go up or down a size. seems almost better to take a risk and try mens sizes!

Not I expected, but good product
