Bed Wedge Acid Reflux Reducing Bed Wedge Pillow (30x32x7) by NuWedge

I have a TempurPedic mattress, and I was concerned nothing would be as comfortable then laying on it. So I spent a little extra for this one because of how dense and the 2" of memory foam on top. Let me tell you, it was worth every cent.I'm a night owl, so yes I tend to snack late because of it. I would try to wait 2 to 3 hours before I lay down. I would make a drink with Apple Cider Vinegar and that helped if I ate early enough. But I had several days a week I would wake up choking on burning acid choking me or burning my throat. I was starting to get a dry cough from it. I decided to give a wedge a try.I went with this one because of the materials. Its is every bit as comfortable as they claim. Its a bit firm when you first get it but as you break it in it softens without becoming to soft. I bought this 32 days ago. I am happy to say the dry cough is gone and I've only had 1 Acid Reflux episode and that was because I had kind of moved down during the night. I'm a bit of a wild sleeper. I found that putting another flat memory foam pillow under my thighs where my butt sinks in between the foam wedge and the pillow really works for me. I use to only be able to sleep on my left side, now I can sleep on both sides and even my back since getting this.Now only that, to press my luck, I've even eaten then gone to bed within the hour and still no episodes. If you are having trouble with Acid Reflux or are stuck sleeping on one side, get this. It took me a couple weeks to get use to being elevated, but I'm use to it now and not being afraid to sleep was worth the peace of mind this has given me.

This wedge arrived on time and in good condition. At first I found it quite awkward but in time I found my sweet spot and started getting a better night's rest. I originally purchased it due to problems with acid reflux. Even though that problem has subsided, I still use the wedge every night as it made sleeping on my back more comfortable allowing me to use pillows under my legs long enough to help the edema. I am foremost a side sleeper so placing the wedge off to one side and not dead center on my queen size bed provides enough room to roll off of it.However, there are many mornings that I find myself still on my back in the exact position from when I closed my eyes.The wedge is heavier than I imagined it would be but the weight keeps it from sliding when I shift from my back to sleeping on my side. I am considering purchasing a second wedge to leave at my parents for weekend visits.

There is nothing wrong with this and it appears to be a well made and comfortable item. I had to return it however as it's too large! My boyfriend and I share a double bed, (not even a queen) and this takes up half the width of the bed exactly, making it very awkward for the non-wedge sleeper. I had it overhang the bed for a few nights and that was just too weird as well so I returned it for a less quality one that is 24 x24 x7 in size but considerably less obtrusive. If we had a queen/King, I would have kept this

As a long time sufferer of the symptoms of acid reflux and having recently been diagnosed with GERD, I cant say enough about the improvement to my quality of life since I started sleeping on NuWedge. I have tried other wedges in the past, but they where always uncomfortable and retained body heat resulting in a poor night's sleep. Not only does this new memory foam wedge relieve pressure on my shoulders and upper back throughout the night, but it seems to dissipate body heat while providing a cool, restful sleep. Most important of all, the symptoms that I woke with everyday for years have greatly subsided. The bitter, metallic taste in my throat, the chest tightness and that burning feeling in my throat have all but disappeared. I found that I can't sleep on my back! Woke up in a panic-attack. Can it be returned?

I bought this for my snoring husband. It works, it actually works! Oh the thrill of sleeping for me is back! He was so loud, I could barely sleep. Now he either doesn't snore, or when he does, it is very softly. I think he feels better too. This pillow is well made, and is of good size.

The first night I used it my neck really was sore. I seem to be getting the hang of it but I still have some neck soreness but I had some soreness before I got the wedge. It might work better if I could move up the wedge a little. I just slide down if I get too high. If I drink or eat anything near bedtime I still get reflux. It seems to be very sturdy and made from good materials.
