I gave 5 stars but I actually can't answer any of the questions fist-hand because I did not eat any of these. I feel confident that the squirrels would back my rating. I just moved to an area with a lot of squirrels in the neighborhood...from the Phoenix area where we had none. I bought these peanuts because the cheaper mix I bought had tiny peanuts and I noticed they would eat the peanuts first and then come over to see if I'd throw more before they settled for the corn and seeds. This bag upped my tree-cred and got me in with the squirrel crew very nicely. Will be ordering again in the Spring.

My Bluejays look for this every morning. If you are looking to attract Bluejays, look no further. I have four resident Jays that will wait every morning for me to put these out. They will come down and swoop to get them and come back 3 or 4 times after. The rest, if any, get passed to the squirrels. It is fun to watch and you will have hours of entertainment.

I'm that crazy neighbor that feeds the local wildlife in my neighborhood. Yes, that's me! I enjoy these little creatures eating. They love the peanuts everyday and I certainly don't mind leaving some out for them.

...I have 3 bluejays and 2 crows that love to munch on these and will land on my deck..... close to my house so I can observe them well.....only prob is the squirrel...lol.....I don't mind if he gets some but he eats them right there on the deck and leaves the shells in a mess....(the birds take the peanuts...shell and all away......)

Squirrels live them!!
