Overall decent set. Used to install new flooring in my 1250 sqft condo and managed to get the job done. However halfway through I started having 2 things making my installation more difficult than it should have been. 1. The rubber on the head of the hammer began chipping away. 2. The metal bar began to bend making the angle at which to hit the bar exceedingly difficult

Overall this was a great kit. I didn’t have to use the wedges but I used the block and the hammer the whole time. They are both durable and easy to use. The hammer is light weight and did not break my flooring when I had to gently tap a piece in. The block had cut outs for your fingers on one side so you can have a grip on it without smashing your fingers. It also has a groove on the edge that slips over the edge of your flooring to tap it in easier.

The angled bit on the bar started to give way, so I had to make a hardware run to replace it. I did a whole house, so it DEFINITELY got a workout, but it did give was about halfway through the job. Otherwise, VERY useful ... in fact, an absolute necessity in some form or another.

After installing about 500 sq ft of laminate flooring, I can tell you that you definitely need a tapping block and rubber mallet to get the job done. You should use a scrap piece of laminate, lock it into the piece you're trying to install, and place the tapping block against that scrap piece. It will prevent any damage to the pieces you're installing.While a lot of people use pieces of the flooring itself as spacers, my boards were too thick, so these spacers did come in handy. The real problem with this product is that the hammer broke on the third or fourth board and I was not using much force. The head popped off the handle - I was able to pop it back on but it remained loose. I continued using it with caution, but I had to keep pushing it down snug. Do not use a regular hammer! You will destroy the plastic tapping block if you do... which I almost did... You need a rubber mallet for use with the tapping block.The pull bar was actually pretty useful in tight places and against walls. All-in-all this was a good buy. Had the hammer not fallen apart so early during installation I would have given 5 stars.

Good little kit for the price. I was mostly wanting the edge tap bar, but the little hammer is Handy as well. Be aware tho, if you are planning on using the entire kit and are installing vinyl plank like I was, you will need a different tapping block than the one provided. Also the tab on the tap bar where you hit it with the hammer bent out on mine. Luckily it lasted to the end of the project which is all I needed.

The hammer is small looks like something ordered from wish. Spacers and pull bar will work I guess. Seller shipped fast and no problems with transaction

I was worried about this purchase because of the bad reviews. I installed about 400 sqft of the laminate you can see under these tools in the picture. This set is still good to go and I will be using it again if I do more. Keep in mind the hammer, the tapping block, and bar are use for tapping. After reading reviews on here it sounds like they were trying to knock the laminate into place with one hard blow. If you use these tools hard enough to shatter the tapping block your using way more force then you need. I recommend starting out with less for then you think you will need. After you get a few rows in you will have a good feel of how much force to make 4 or 5 firm taps get the board in place.

I purchased this kit to install 12mm laminate flooring and it does the job. The pull bar and tapping block come in handy and are sturdy. I've heard of other kits containing bad tapping blocks that break quickly and so far I have installed flooring in two rooms and the tapping block is holding up well. The double headed mallet is just ok. It's a bit small and light weight but it does the job. Maybe it's good that the mallet is as such because it makes it more maneuverable. I would recommend this kit to anyone installing laminate flooring.

The media could not be loaded.  Ottimo kit veramente indispensabile per montare il pavimento senza questo kit sarebbe stata dura, invece è stato come avere un esperto accanto che mi aiutasse,calcolando che era la prima volta che montavo questo parquet. Un altro consiglio munitevi di ginocchiere. Venditore consigliatissimo e prodotto consigliatissimo.

Para mi sorpresa faltaba el taco de golpeo. Imprescindible para realizar el trabajo... lo abrí una semana después de recibirlo (fallo mío) y al or a trabajar con él me llevé la galleta. Tuve que comprar uno suelto en tienda local. Si no es por eso la verdad que habría cumplido su función de forma más completa.

Il martello è leggerino come costruzione ma per 40 metri quadri ha fatto il suo dovere.Il profilato di metallo ha tenuto botta, poteva avere una battura più larga ma è ok..i idstanziali se fossero di diverse misure sarebbe stato meglio.Positivo nel complesso.

Un kit básico, de calidad media, pero absolutamente mas que suficiente para instalar tarima en una habitación de unos 15 metros cuadrados. El estriado de las cuñas las hace perfectas para combinar dos o mas en función de la separación necesaria. El taco para golpear sin dañar la tarima y la herramienta en forma de "S" son perfectas para ajustar las lamas en ubicaciones pequeñas o posiciones comprometidas. El martillo acabó bastante tocado pero cumplió su misión a la perfección. Si vas a poner tarima en toda la casa, posiblemente haya algo mas profesional y resistente, pero para una sola habitación y sobre todo si no quieres gastar mas en herramientas que en material, es el producto perfecto.
