No leakage, quality seems great and easy to use. Make sure you use teflon tape. I used with PEX and copper piping. Fit was perfect and worked well with my application. Appreciate the half to quarter the price of sharkbite fittings.

Great product! Works just as well as the name brand but at a fraction of the cost. Used to connect a water softener in the garage. Super simple installation. Helpful hint - Connect your piping first and make a mark for how much pipe goes inside the fitting (it was much more than we assumed it would be). Then use the included tool to disconnect the pipe and cut it to the size needed. No guesswork needed!

I added a water leak detector to my water main to protect my home. I did it with the traditional solder copper couplings. It was fine but needed to be careful with the torch and the nearby framing. I then received warning alerts about the water inlet pressure was too high (~88 psi vs. 80 psi recommended max). I decided to add a Pressure Reduction Valve (PRV) and try the shark-bite couplings for the first time to see how they work. Wow, they were extremely easy to use and work like a champ. I would give the two thumbs up. Great products and highly recommended for anyone who is not comfortable with soldering. Cheers.

I never had any trouble with this product but my last order 3 of 6 shark bits started leaking. I tried the fittings on pex A and B, copper, cpvc etc and they still leak. I also change out the plastic insert. Still leak.

The SUNGATOR 1/2 Inch Male Adapter is the best value I found when I needed it. This is the same all brass durable 'push fit' / 'shark bite style' adapter that better name brands are. When repairing broken sections of old cpvc water pipes this type of valve is a must to save from shattering the brittle pipe by using other methods. Just ask Google AI, it'll tell you. This two pack only cost a little more than comparable single packs so there was really no choice to make, for me. Now I have a back up for the next time another old 1/2" pipe cracks or severs.

I used these on a well pressure tank. The worked great with pex. Easy to use and came with a tool to take the pex out of the fitting. I used 5 of these in my setup and run my well pressure at 60psi. NO Leaks.
