Koldfront PAC14023CWH Large Room Cools Up To 500 Square Foot 110-120V Portable Air Conditioner

Used for the first time last night and got our (small) upstairs cool quick! Very easy to install as well. Haven't used the remote get but it should come in handy when we're downstairs and don't want to go up to adjust the temp. Only inconvenience is that you have to manually drain, but haven't had to yet so we'll see how frequently it needs done...haven't yet assessed the energy as it hasn't been in use long enough and it could use better airtight seals where it goes into the window. Also, the panels it comes with won't adjust to fit all windows so we made one ourselves which wasn't really a big deal- just cut a piece of foam from the packaging to fill the gap on one side. The noise level isn't terrible, but for the price was expecting it to be a bit quieter. Overall, these are all minor issues in my eyes seeing as it is keeping us cool at night!!

I have had it for over a month. It is awesome at cooling the room down. The sun tends to hit my bedroom hard & temperatures skyrocket into the 90's. This brings my room down to a comfortable temperature. At first it was beeping constantly, but that has since stopped. Not sure what that was about. Everything is fine now. It cools the whole room & does its job. I don't find it very easy to drain & it doesn't fit the window very well, but I don't regret the purchase because it works.

Bought this to cool our garage which is used as a home gym now with Covid. We live in AZ so we needed something strong. This unit performs as advertised. Easy to set up and operate. Very cold air on high. We don’t care about noise levels as it is in garage, but on Low fan speed it is very quiet.The exhaust tube gets quite hot. We ended up insulating it inside the room to keep heat out. The air intake we left inside the room rather than pull from the outside to improve cooling.The unit is rated for the garage our size, but even though the garage is insulated it is not quite enough. Inside the better insulated house it would do great. For garages I would recommend the next size up.

I have more then 500 square feet and planned on getting another air conditioner along with this one. Just this one does the trick! cools my whole downstairs! good quality for the price.

i never have had a problem .... we use them like a work horse in the summer!
