Much more of a bio of only Henry. Alot of repeating information. I can't recommend.

Eleanor was such an interesting woman . Well ahead of her age .Henry was a great king - ahead of his time .A real clash of personalities .

Cannot really comment as a gift to someone else, but read it before I gave it and found it interesting.

Bought this with high expectations. Only read 7% on the Kindle version, the writing style isn’t tight. One sentence is thirty eight words long, that’s when I finally gave up. This book reads like a thesis or school textbook in need of better editing.
