The third release by this great punk/Latin/mariachi band. Born out of a desire to challenge themselves musically, Mariachi El Bronx is the alter ego of Los Angeles punk band the Bronx. Conceived in 2006, the idea came about when the Bronx were asked to play an acoustic set and, rather than simply pare down their sound, they took their music in a whole new direction, moving away from hardcore and exploring Latin soundsVinyl edition comes in Day-Glo Orange vinyl color!

A bit disappointed the the vinyl cover came with a huge crease in the corner.The actual music is excellent though, I would recommend you see Mariachi El Bronx if you can.

True Mariachi music all sung in english
If you are a fan of The Bronx, you won't necessarily be a fan of Mariachi El Bronx. There is no punk sounding music, this is true Mariachi music. But...somehow the manage to have "The Bronx" attitude while staying true to the Mariachi format. This not a joke or anything, just really good music in the Mariachi format. Give it a listen and you will appreciate it or, like me, you will love it.
