hyG-2 Ionic Toothbrush

I used to have a hyG ionic toothbrush many years ago and I liked it. The battery died and I never replaced it. I finally found it again and have been very happy with it. My teeth would often feel coated by 5:00 or so but this ionic toothbrush works like magic. My teeth feel clean all day, and food particles don't seem to have many places to grab on to now. Also I swear my teeth are brighter and whiter too (not being paid for this).Just wet your hand and keep a wet finger on the metal pad. That's it. I can be messy with toothpaste so I sometimes rinse the metal pad as I go.I just know this will help at my next dentist visit too! I'll be looking to get the whole family hooked up with this.

the bristles are way too soft and I have yet to find the time to figure out if its on or not.

DOA- Battery arrived DEAD - talked to IonicBrush.com they are aware of Amazons Warehouse problems. Sounds like they do not sell to Amazon directly and the product is from a third party. The 5 BRGS brush heads look great and the total package price close to the price of buying replacement heads so I am going to buy a new handle from Tempe AZ. Can't you just replace the 3v CR1025 Panasonic Battery you ask? UH no not really - the metal tab is attached in a manner akin to replacing an IPhone 7 screen, there is a gasket under it for water proofing several metal tabs for correct conductivity...will update once I have a working toothbrush handle. The manufacture does not put a mfg date on package so buyer beware your battery life could be all over the place making my Colgate 360 Total Advanced Floss-Tip purchase a better buy.

I've used this toothbrush for a while but not long enough to decide if it really helps with tartar control. i need to use it for a longer period of time before i can really rate it.

I bought this toothbrush in july of 2015Only used it a few times and the battery is dead !This is the first time I had Dr. tong ....i had another brand before and the battery lasted 2 to 3 years.I am a senior on a fixed budget and this is unacceptable to me to spend this much money and have it last such a short time.

My family has used nothing but these for a very long time. My sister went to the dentist for a chipped tooth. It had been 5 years since she had been in. He fixed it and told her there was no need for a cleaning since there was nothing to clean. That's how well this ionic toothbrush works for us!It only works if you hold it correctly, which is not difficult. The base works well for a couple years, easily. A lot cheaper than dental bills!

I had read an article on line about the merits of ionized tooth brushes and decided to give it a try. I was very pleased with the results because my teeth are squeaky clean at the end of using this brush. They do feel as if I've just been to a good dental hygienist. Sorry Europe, but you don't know that art too well. I'm an American living abroad and have no luck even finding an efficient hygienist for my teeth and gums. This ionizing brush and some good dental floss is my substitute and, I must say, I'm thrilled with the result. Given that it has now been proven that plaque and sores on the gums cause cancer as well as heart disease, it's something we should all be taking very seriously.

Had one of these years ago and loved it. I had no idea they still made them until I saw it on AMAZON. They are as good now as always. They work great and if you DO have sensitivity with your teeth, just don't use it everyday. I take about 2 days off a week and have had no problems. I simply brush my teeth with my electric. Works for me.
