An Excellent Cross-Training Shoe
I use them mainly for for cross-training type gym classes and they're excellent; providing excellent support and stability. I also wear them when I plan on working on my feet for very long periods and they help minimize foot fatigue like no other shoe I've ever used. This is my second purchase and I'm very disappointed that they seem to be discontinued. When my first pair wore out, I replaced them with the Teva Rally M but those didn't provide the upper lateral support and stability I had grown accustommed to with these. For me, they run about 1/2 size smaller than expected.

I expected more from Teva
As far as hiking and running shoes go, I have only purchased Teva's for the last few years. My previous pair of Teva's wereTeva Raith eVent® Trail Shoes, and I absolutely loved them! I couldn't find them anymore online, so I went for the Tevasphere shoes instead. Unfortunately, these shoes have been a bit of a disappointment in terms of quality. The taped seams around the mesh started coming apart almost immediately, and the shoes are no longer waterproof. Also, the protective heel backing is coming apart and the tread seems to have worn down rather quickly. Comfort is fine but takes a week or two to get used to them. Bottom line: It's a fine shoe and better than a lot of tennis/running shoes, but I will definitely not be buying these again.

No foot problems for me wearing these Teva Tevasphere Trail eVent Hiking Shoes while many others had bad blisters on their feet
Hiked from Springer Mountain in Georgia starting 3/1/14 to 554 mile mark in southern Virginia on the Appalachian Trail. No foot problems for me wearing these Teva Tevasphere Trail eVent Hiking Shoes while many others had bad blisters on their feet and ankle problems. I hiked in some snow and ice early on, quite a bit of rain. Hiked over many rocks and roots. These shoes provided great protection and support. I did wear gators which helped keep the upper shoes protected and dry. Very highly recommended for the trail. I normally wear size 11, got size 12 for trail and wore liners + Darn Tough wool socks.

Loving my Tevasphere "training wheels"!
Ok, I stole that phrase from another reviewer, but the bottom line is I'm glad I got these shoes and did not "order a size up" like so many others said was necessary. Then again, my feet may be a little narrower than normal. I have not actually run in these yet, but they feel light enough to do so--unlike some previous trail running shoes I've had. They feel great just for normal activities, and will be my first choice when working on a ladder too...LOL. Yes those training wheels should really come in handy then!

Not bad, just not my favorite
I liked these shoes, it took a while to get comfortable using them because the heel is rounded and it just felt odd. After a couple of hours it didn't feel weird anymore. I don't often wear them though because i just prefer the fit and feel of more conventional shoes.

Buy a 1/2 size larger
After reading some previous reviews I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and I'm glad I did. Other than that, the shoes are very comfortable and they work well, I appreciate the hard covering around the toe and heel to keep my feet protected. I have not had them in any wet conditions so I'm not sure how well the liner works to keep your feet dry, but they do breath well and I have not had any problems with my feet sweating.

For under $30, these are a steal!
For the price, this is way better than I expected. Comfortable, waterproof, semi-stylish and functional. For those of us who do the occasional trail running on the weekends, these are perfect. They are a little warm and not as breathable as I'd like, but that's impossible to find in this price range with waterproofing. I'd definitely recommend these to someone who is looking for a economical, waterproof hiking/trail running shoe.

It's a more narrow shoe than I've ever worn
They're well made and look great. They feel pretty good to wear except the pinch in around the ball of my feet and seem narrow.
