Is this razor pk for someone whos only eber used Gillette razors ?

It’s for whoever wants to use a cutthroat blade. Whether you’re experienced with it or not. It’s the first one I ever used and it worked great. You just have to get used to a new technique. Razors come separately in many brands which most have a universal design so they fit all blade holders. I used ‘Derby blades’ myself.

Can I use with a shorter balde ?

Sorry, did not understand what did you mean about "shorter blade" Although our razor is compatible with all brands of standard size "Double Edge Blades" as well with "Single Edge Blades".
