Very happy with the purchase and features for the money!
Picked up the "refurbished" version of this GPS before a recent road trip to Colorado. This unit replaced a Garmin unit from 2008 that better serves as a paperweight than a GPS unit. The GPS arrived and we immediately left for vacation, without any updates or upgrades along the way. (We mounted it to the weighted Garmin friction dash mount I picked up at the same time and headed out.) This unit is lightyears from the old unit and we were pleasantly surprised with the features and ease of use. The 6" display is very easy to see from the driver's seat and the touch screen works well. With a destination input, it tells distance to gas stations, restaurants, and rest areas (if reported) along the way. When we reached our destination I ran the updates (using my Mac!!!) and continued the trip. As of now, we have logged close to 2,000 miles and almost 20 hours of use and are very happy with it. I did pick up a replacement warranty for it but with that the purchase came in about $90 which is hard to beat in my book.Pros- Easy to see and use due to large display size- Lifetime maps- Easier to use than smartphone map/GPS featureCons- Larger size makes unit harder to store- Power wire running down dash- Another gadget to worry about in the car (not sure it is a "con" or not)

Garmin 67M GPS navigator
Works extremely well for a basic GPS unit. Imagery is quite clear and the voice turn by turn directions are helpful without being obtrusive. Garmin keeps it updated regularly which is handy living in a city that is constantly changing as new roadways are added. Strongly recommend this unit for anyone looking for a basic GPS system that provides accurate information and is easy to use.

Works well, but maps not quite as up-to-date as other on-line maps
Haven't yet taken it on the road (just a few test runs locally). Loaded latest update/maps, and it seems to work well, BUT doesn't seem to be quite as up-to-date as Google Maps. Didn't recognize/find some addresses I tried to pull up that Google had no trouble finding. (2 newer housing additions near Indy - found roads but not street address- and 1 in rural TN that has been around for years it couldn't find at all). For the whimsical people out there, Garmin no longer offers alternative vehicle icons or voices, but I did find a website that offers over 1000 alternate vehicle icons that can be downloaded to Garmin devices: vehiclesforgarminnuvi.com

No Canadian maps.
Description does not say it only contains maps for lower 49 states. I bought for use in Canada and figured it would have all north American maps like other Garmin units I bought. Have to pay another $60usd for the Canadian maps of which I'm having a really hard time getting to install. Will not install on my 32gb SD card as internal memory is limited. Will try with different SD card on different computer. Hope I'm not out $60 for the maps... So it turns out the new Lexar SD I used was defective. Was able to install the Canadian maps using a different SD.

Excellent GPS for Road Trips and Scenic Routes
Best GPS I've ever had. This is my second Garmin Nuvi GPS (the first one was stolen - at least someone else is enjoying it too!) and I have yet to find a real issue with it. I love that it somehow knows the speed limit on little back roads where I never saw a sign. It's probably helped me avoid a dozen speeding tickets by now.The only problem I have is that the suction cup tends to fall off my windshield overnight. Not the fault of the GPS itself, although still mildly annoying at times. Also love that I can tell it to calculate by shortest time or shortest distance (or a few other options that I don't use so much) because I always know that the Shortest Distance route is going to be an adventure (mostly because I also tell it to "avoid highways." :DBuy it. You'll love it.

A great product for the price.
This is my third Garmin - and in an era of smartphone and auto dealer added GPS apps that's saying something. It performs admirably and I have not had any issues. I particularly like the rest stop indicators and the large 6 inch screen. Automatic "areas of interest" selection is of particular good use when on vacation. I also like the optional back up blue tooth camera feature which comes in really handy when you are pulling a trailer.A great product for the price.

Vacations are more fun!
I am THRILLED! I've been using my iPhone GPS but there are times that I don't get a phone signal in the mountains outside Denver. So I bought this and took this to McCall, Idaho last week and had absolutely no problems driving out in the boondocks. It directed me to my friend's house--which was way out of town, down a dirt road. I love the larger 6" size--and just stuck it on the windshield glass since I didn't want to take the heavy dashboard holder I'd purchased. And it was fine. But I do like the little holder mat I bought for my car, as it's easier than sticking it on the window and pulling it off every time I park. Next: I'm taking my grandkids to Iceland in 2 weeks--so I need to purchase the Iceland map. This has taken the "fear factor" out of driving in Iceland. BTW--I bought this because my neighbor loaned me theirs when I went on a driving trip in England last month. It was great to drive from town to town without any problem--and even to be directed to parking lots. Saved my nerves for sure--and made it a lot more enjoyable trip.
