Addis 50 Litre Recycling Commercial Utility Waste Trash Pedal Bin, All Red Colour

I’ve been using the Addis Eco 50L Kitchen Pedal Bin for 3 months now, and it has been fantastic! This is the third bin I’ve bought in the last year—I previously tried more expensive ones, but they broke quickly. However, this one is sturdy and well-made, doing the job perfectly.The light grey color blends beautifully with my kitchen, and the removable lid makes emptying super easy. The pedal mechanism works smoothly, and the eco-friendly recycled plastic is a great bonus.For the price, it’s an excellent choice—durable, practical, and stylish. good size for a family.Highly recommend!

Reasonable quality but the pedal doesn't open the lid far enough. You can open the lid further & stays up. Ours was black with a pale grey pedal that's easier to see.

Capacity is great - we actually never fill fully the bin bags inside because otherwise they break when lifting them out because they become very heavyDesign is OK - considering its plastic built and price, you can't ask for much morePrice is great - £18 we paid in 2022Lid opening system is bad - we like the foot pedal system, but it's not very well implemented on this bin and the lid will open only half way with it, so to open it in full you need to do it manually with your hands which can often make the lid goes off the pedal system...Durability is bad - plastic part that connects the lid to the bin broke after a couple of years, so now browsing for a new one...

Firstly, the bin is fantastic. It’s so nice to have a big bin. It’s great how you can open it with the pedal, this means no matter what you don’t need to touch the bin to open it. The lid also opens fully at 90 degrees for when you just want an open bin to be able to throw constant streams of rubbish, plus you can empty the bin easier.Customer services are great here at Addis, they are quick to respond to any questions you may have and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy.There’s only one negative about this whole transaction, it’s nothing to do with the company nor the product, it’s to do with the courier company who delivered it-EVRI. This crafty dis-ingenuous idiot of a driver decided to OPEN my item and throw away the box!! He also ripped off the delivery label and stuck it on the lid of the bin (which he installed incorrectly) the label still had bits of cardboard still stuck to it!, The bin was also scuffed and marked in several places. I don’t get why any company would want to use Evri (AKA Hermes previously) They are a disgrace to the courier industry, I’ve had nothing but negative interactions with them. Rant over.

Looks and feels flimsy but it’s very durable. The lid pops out when you unload, but it’s easy to clip back. I think the design is very clever with very little that can break or go wrong. Might not be for everyone.

I bought two, one for general waste and one for recycling. They work well for this and fit perfectly into the space I allocated for them. The lids seal well when closed so no nasty smells waft into the atmosphere to offend my nose. The colour wasn't quite what I was expecting but that's no biggy. Good capacity, well balanced, plain and simple and do the job without spending a fortune.
