This is an excellent product
I have been using mine for two weeks now for rotator cuff surgery recovery. I fill mine with all ice cubes (no water) and it stays cold for 4-5 hours. Much easier to use than the electric pump units that simply circulate water. With two bags there are many options for coverage, but it may be less contact all around the shoulder than the circulating pump - or if water is added to the ice.I wear it to bed, on the train or bus, while driving, walking around the house, etc. I can fill it easily w/o carrying around a heavy pump. My PT likes these and has one herself. There is minimal "sweating" as the ice melts and no water leaking. Easy on/off cap can be used with one hand.

Nice Concept, a Little Weak on Execution
I've got a chronic rotator cuff issue and bought this to be able to ice after activity. It allows me to apply the ice myself without having to be Ace wrapped in place by someone else. I've even worn it back to work after a workout. Great concept, a little weak on execution.First the bags, the lid pulled loose from one on the first attempt at use. I actually replaced it and they work well, although the ice water can eventually soak through. Straps were a little difficult to attach at first. Finally, I just set the chest strap to where I wanted and pulled it on over my head. the arm strap is way to small for me, but my arm is way bigger than most.Actually, this also turned out to work well with a rectangular cold pack - just put it into the mesh compartment and strap it on. Takes about 20 seconds tops. Works well.If I did it again, I'd probably buy one built for a cold pack and get two cold packs.

Helped my shoulder pain.
I ordered this and didn’t know what I really ordered. I knew I wanted it to hold the ice. I read the reviews prior to ordering so I know the bags can be weak - so I was careful to not have sharp ice be put in.This things stays on and stays cold. I like sunny it because it works. It’s bulky and feels awkward but not uncomfortable.Definitely worth the purchase.

Not cheap but effective
I have a fairly serious shoulder injury from weightlifting so I was looking for an ice pack for post workout recovery. After looking at several different shoulder packs, I came across the "Proseries Double Pack." It's a little cumbersome to get on (most are I find anyway) but once it's in place, my hands are free and it stays very well for a long period of time. What I like about this is that it uses real ice rather than gel packs, which I find, don't stay cold very long. I gave it 4 stars only because it's a tad bit expensive but the actual shoulder pack itself I give 5 stars. I've tried a few different packs and this I found to be the best. I recommend this shoulder pack if you can afford to spend a little more and have a serious shoulder inflammation problem like I do. Best of luck.

This Ice Pack Saved My Life
Using this amazing product gives you chest hair, like a real man. (look at the product picture!!) The fact you can put ice and water in the bags (which have not leaked after several uses) makes this product far better than any gel related item. People that have posted how confusing it is to put on obviously do not work with their hands, have never built a Lego set/played with Lincoln Logs, mowed a lawn, driven a manual car, used a can opener, or taken apart and reassembled a flux capacitor. Newbs. The real - Entirely encompasses your shoulder with cold/hot providing natural relief. I have two kids that, believe it or not, do not care if one of my arms would be useful when they need a diaper change or help finding Purple Bunny. You maintain complete functionality and mobility while wearing this product. (My wife is making me state that I don't help with those other things, I usually just play Xbox while I'm wearing it.)The one gripe I will validate is that it may be difficult to put on if you are experiencing a lot of shoulder pain. Having a helping hand is...helpful. Getting the arm strap tight enough to limit movement of the harness is the hardest part by yourself. However, it can be done.I'm not entirely sure if that's Tony Romo in the picture and due to it being purchased in June, I can't verify if it will in fact, choke in the playoffs. (Blue hat not included).

OK
How hard would it be for them to put a little diagram showing how the straps go? If you have a shoulder injury that needs ice you had better have someone help you get this on cause trying to manipulate it in place by your self will have you in tears from the pain. if you do get it on it ain't gonna look nice and neat like in the picture ....Oh no the ice packs will be bulging out like tooth paste squeezing out of a tube. It's not worth the pain trying to get the ice over the right spot on the shoulder ......Too bad i had high hopes for this thing .It's going backAlright i kept it. Once my shoulder got a little better I could get it on. The bags are still bulging out and partially hanging down outside the harness but once on and adjusted i can indeed walk around and it stays in place more or less. i raised it to 3 stars cause Ice is better than any gel an it's better than laying on a recliner and holding an ice bag on the shoulder with my other hand.

Great design and functionality.
This works perfectly. It is easy to put on and is comfortable to wear. It completely ices my entire shoulder and lasts a long time. With a mixture of ice and water you can make the bags very squishy and mold it over the area, As a bonus the bags work great on their own and can be used as independent ice bags, This is a great product.

Easy to apply after shoulder surgery
I purchased this after my third week following rotator cuff surgery because the Berg polar pack ice system provided did not form well to my shoulder and was harder to attach. I’ve used both ice packs, but suggest not filling them full otherwise it is too bulky for your shoulder. Also, you can use a large reusable ice pack to make it easier to use. I recommend having the underarm strap attached and sliding your arm in for easy application. I have used this almost a dozen times and I would buy again. 4 stars because the straps that go around your chest are redundant, you only need one.
