Solo Board Games
This set of puzzle and board games is ideal if you want to play games but have no humans to compete against. You can play against computer players who speak when it is their turn and gesticulate to indicate your slow response when your turn is is progress. There are so many games which are fun to play, with card games, dominoes, chess, Bump 'Em, Lotto or Housey Housey and word games.I particularly like Wordox which is similar to Scrabble but be warned that words are based on an American dictionary and some of the words my computer opponents use are not in an English dictionary and the same goes for words in Chambers not being allowed by this USA programme which can be very frustrating because many of the American words I wouldn't use and am sure most educated British people wouldn't.Another game I must mention is Battling Ships which in the UK is known under a different name and is about sinking your opponents ships before they sink yours and you can use your intuition to locate the other player's vessels and win the game.I have no hesitation in recommending this game which I use on a Mac OSX and used one on a Dell computer four years ago and this is definiitely an updated version.

Hoyle puzzles and board games 2010 XP
Useless without internet - Must have internet to use in the selling details.Hoyle Puzzle and board games windows XP - Unable to load as it requires internet access to load .To run it it seems from the pdf file internet access is required at all times ( for use on windows also requires CD in drive at all times as well but not mac)I only access the internet from a internet use only computer - it is not 100% safe for your private data due to hackers and leakers.This a an Amazon fault any many items listed are not fully compliant with the description ( Electric blankets is very bad )

Mmmm!
Never worked on my laptop - Vista, but have used Hoyle before on my XP desktop with no problems at all....Just can not get this version to load on Vista..........and yes, I have loaded other games onto my laptop with no problems......

Hoyle Puzzle
a range of games which work well. Most have instructions available within the games themselves. rather a basic (low resolution) feel but therange of different gamnes is good. Worked OK on my two computers (32 bit VISTA and a 64 bit Windows 7).

Used these games years ago on PC. so please to have it on Laptop and much better graphics. great fun
