Kenmore 6-Slice Convection Toaster Oven, White

After 3 years of this convection toaster oven I think I can say without reservation, it's not a good appliance. If the marketing excluded the timer feature (which is used for all the cooking options) then I wouldn't complain. But the timer simply does not work. You set it (turn past 20 minutes then set to the time you want), it starts to "tick" then it just stops "ticking" and if you're not there in the kitchen watching it then when you remember you have something cooking/toasting/baking/broiling/warming etc. it may be WAAAAY too late. I had a simple B&D for over 18 years, it never messed up on me...but it had no timer except when you chose the toasting level.I did purchase from Sears at a bargain bottom price of $19.99...but really, in retrospect it was not a bargain.
