Why is it taking almost 2 weeks for delivery? Is there a way to get this sooner?

That's a question for the vendor, not the customer.

Will this work for a 59-inch sliding window?

yes work, the sliding door vent kit suits for slide door and window, Max adjustable length 220cm/87Inch.

When you set the length is it permanent? Or can it be adjusted easily for another door/window?

It can be adjusted at any time.
