My Pool PalBoy's Flotation Swimsuit

Finally!! Something that fits!!
My son is big for 3, and most floatation suits only go to a size 5t. This is made for kids 50-70 pounds, and fits him perfectly!! Looking forward to using it in the pool.

Floats! With guidance!
My son is 18 months old and about 32 pounds. This will help him float but not keep him from going under until the learn how to use their arms and legs to keep themselves upright! But I have twin girls that are 2 and they started out in these also and go all over the pool now floating on their own. They cannot swim without them on but it’s a wonderful tool for teaching them how to balance their bodies in the water if that makes sense. I have repurchased these!

Lot's of fun - but might hamper swim lessons.
Pros:Gave my son the confidence to play in the water. He splashed, kicked, and had a great time. He's 2 1/2.Cons:Seemed to set back his swimming learning because he didn't understand that he would go under (and stay under) with certain moves when he wasn't wearing it. Honestly, this isn't too big a deal to me as we don't own a pool and he's only in it if I am. But during his formal swim lessons, he wouldn't follow directions as well and seemed to want his freedom as he had when he wore this floaty thing.

Not what I thought
Very difficult to get grandson in and out with the elastic around neck and armholes. It tips him onto his back. Purchased similar one for his older brother 2 or 3 years earlier. The design was much better with a zipper in the back.

I bought it for my grandson
It keeps him floating but we have to supervise him closely or he could flip over with his face in the water. However, he is learning to move his arms and legs so he keeps his head out of the water.

Don't Bother
Sigh. Really disappointed in this suit (especially for the price). My son is 14 months and weighs about 24 pounds--- he is also pretty tall yet this doesn't really help him in the pool. The one floatie that is sewn into the upper chest comes up too far and literally chokes his neck. In response, he throws his head back...and well it's just dangerous. They used to make great floatation bathing suits back in the 80's when I was a kid where the styrofoam was around the stomach area only. There is so much styrofoam on this one that it's uncomfortable and seemingly dangerous. It also doesn't keep his head afloat if I let him go....he started sinking. So we're not using this one and I just went back to a normal suit.....

Worked great
This worked great for my son when we went to the beach. We used it in the pool. Would recommend.

Love the fit
Love the fit. I bought the xs. He's 4 and long and lean weighing 37 pounds. My son thinks he looks like a blue ironman in it so he loves it too and is happy to wear it!
