Logisys New Power Supply Upgrade for Acer Veriton M Series Desktop Computer - Fits The Following Models: Veriton M5630, M5640, M

When I heard a LOUD POP one evening while the computer was off, something told me to turn the computer on.Totally dead. I pulled the covers and removed the connectors for the power supply and still the power supplywould not power up. Checking inside the power supply revealed nothing to ME, so I chose to purchase anothersince prices can be low, depending upon sources.I purchased the subject power supply around two months ago, or so, and have not been disappointed at all. Itarrived well packaged and in excellent condition. It has performed perfectly, as advertised, and there has beenno evidence of any workmanship problems that I can see. It fit the computer well, no problems at all with theinstallation.Would I do it again? Yep, you betcha! I gave it a FOUR rating because I don't think I could ever love a powersupply.

Have only had this for a few days . Easy to install and quite . Have to get use to the switch on back but other than that it's fine .

I bought this because I didn't know the size of PC power supplies is standard and the price is so attractive. I returned it after I tried for the below reasons1. it is very noisy compared to the original in-box one. the problem becomes more obvious when it is quiet at night . simple put I couldn't stand it.2. it needs one more SATA connector. it can only connect it to one device either hard drive or DVD for M5800.3. the box is light and I don't feel the quality.in the end I bought Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX500) (NOTE that the connector to the mother board doesn't fit so I had to make one by using the connector from the bad power supply)with $62.71 and I am very happy with it. it is much more expensive but it is worth it. A low quality PC power supply will ruin your PC!

The power supply fit perfectly and runs more quietly than the original one. The cable configuration was slightly different, but all the necessary connections were there and have been having no problems.

Fits a a glove, works better than the original power supply and easy installation for any beginners. A fun project for me.

Swapped out dead original with this affordable replacement - no problems at all.

Powered computer on once but then after shutting it down, it never would come back on.
