Scribbler 3D V2 Pen with LED screen, Pastel Pink

This pen was my first step into the world of 3d printing.I am a terrible doodler but this is so fun to use.First time I used it I was amazed at how you can build pretty much anything with practice.This has worked well but the fastest speed is too fast unless you want to lay down a really thick bead.Being able to control the temperature and speed is very useful if you wish to fine tune it, the stock temperature it had was just a tad too hot for the filament I was using.I could hear the filament crackling and popping.Steady hands and going slow is key to being successful.Have fun.

This was bought as a replacement for a different one that had the tip melt after a few uses.This was used several times without issue then it stopped working. when we turn it on it just cycles between the filament selections and won't actually turn on.We gave up on 3d pens for awhile until the tech gets a bit better and ordered a 3d printer instead... That's still in shipping so we'll see how it goes.

This item is, basically, a hand held 3D printer. It is a lot of fun to operate. It goes through the plastic materiel pretty quickly. My grand daughter had a lot of fun with this toy. Adult supervision is advised for preteen operators because of the heater, which is well housed within the pen.

The product came well packaged in a fun, bright box. I ordered a pink Scribbler and received a yellow one. This is a minor inconvenience, but it does keep the product from getting another star.The pen itself is fun! There is a rather large learning curve. I have attached photos of my first creations, so everyone can feel better about themselves. Patience seems to be the key. With some practice (and a YouTube video or two) I was up and running. It is very fun. The 'ink' dries quickly so you can go straight up in the air.Unfortunately my Scribbler jammed frequently. The instructions were clearly not written by someone who speaks English as a first language, so that didn't provide much help. Fortunately, the jamming resolved itself. But if I were serious about this hobby, the rapid changes in speed that is caused by the jamming is very frustrating. My creations look awful anyway, so I wasn't overly worried about it.

We used it about 3 times and then it stopped working. I sent it back. Amazon has a great retrun policy.

This pen is easy to use but I am not an artist. I watched videos and it looked easy, it wasn't. The pen has a temp adjuster, speed adjuster and a feed button. I didn't like that you have to leave the pen plugged in the whole time. It would be better if it was rechargeable. My kids still had fun playing with it. It will take some time playing with it for them to get it down to make something that stands up. The tip is hot so be careful.****update***** my kids used the pen two times and it doesn't work. It burned up and now will not feed or release the filament. I contacted the company as there is a 6 month warranty and can not get anyone to contact me back. Don't spend the money.
