They arrived fast and are actually larger than I had expected. They made a very pretty mermaid tip when I was done.

Theses shells cover a size D bra from Victoria's secret perfectly! The strings are very thin and weak, I recommend just flying these shells down to a flesh-toned bra that is strapless. It really does look beautiful. I used them for my mermaid cosplay. I cut off the strings. Larger chested women will need to do what I did. If you're chest is smaller you may get away with just using the strings, but I'd recommend adhering the shells to your body if you can comfortably.

Worked great for my Halloween costume! I spray painted it w blue glitter paint, and that added a great touch. Originally it was very pure white. It would look nicer as a pearl white, but it can be painted easily.Oh, also I didn’t use the string it came with. I come up with my own.

This shell bra is amazing!!! The shells are a perfect size and they are made very well. I used the shells for my Ariel Costume. I cut the shells off the string, painted them purple, and attached them to a swim suit top. It turned out spectacular. I did this on my YouTube Channel, Lavender Blooms, if you want to get a better look at the shells.

This is great as a base, but if you're looking for a one-stop, ready to wear option, this isn't it. Luckily I had some copper spray paint on hand and I painted them to match my costume and they actually look really good! I would say spray paint is your best option, but acrylic brush on paint would be okay as well. I didn't add any jewels or anything, the spray paint ended up being enough pizzazz. I also replaced the straps with some iridescent white chord. I know a lot of people attached it to a bra, but I want to wear it to work and I think that would be awkward...

This is the quality you would expect from a plastic novelty shell bra. The strings are not the lengths they appear to be in the photo; I have a 32 inch chest and very small breasts and the strings that are supposed to tie in back were almost too short to fasten. Additionally the string between the shells was like 4 inches long. I just removed it and will be affixing the shells to my body with some kind of adhesive... After covering them with glitter of course. Perfect for "modesty" at this year's naked bike ride here in Portland. Notably, I ordered these on a Thursday and they arrived by Monday. Very impressed with the shipping speed.

I’m a 36 B and these felt a bit big on me. Worked well for a Halloween costume. Just painted them and glued some glitter and jewels, and they were beautiful. Wore a shirt underneath as it is cold where we live but could have worn without it. The shells are a bit wide apart, you can shorten them but then you’ll need to add a longer string to tie in the back. (Makeup in the photo done with face paint sponge and fishnet stockings)

I’ve used this shell bra on multipleOccasions for mermaid photo shoots! I had to replace the string it comes with with twine, and I spray paint it to match my various tails. But this bra is just so perfect for the money! I’m a c cup, (D) at Victoria’sSecret, and I have extra room in there.
