Great OEM keyfob
Got it from NorthCoast Keyless. Confirmed it is a real OEM keyfob, was able to get it programmed by a local keysmith. One note: Please double check and make sure the FCC ID is the exact same as the remote you want to copy from. For me my original was a WAZSKE13D02, and the copy was a WAZSKE13D01 but worked fine.

Good
It will work however, depending on where you get it programmed, you will have a permanent light on the dash.

POOR CHOICE !!!
This product is NOT a Mazda OEM FOB. It caused a message on my 2015 Mazda 6 dash that reads "Keyless System Inspection Required". The Mazda dealership could not remove it AND the Mazda remote start installed by the dealership when it was purchased now will NOT work!! Their computer indicated that it was NOT a Mazda FOB. It will now cost me HUNDREDS of $$ to "possibly" get this repaired. Bite the bullet and spring for a genuine Mazda FOB installed at the dealership!!

Great Product
This fob was compatible with my car, saved a lot of money versus going with a Mazda dealership.

Its legit!
It came packaged in a small envelope with no other documentation. It still looked legit so I called a locksmith to get it programmed and the guy told me that since I didnt buy it from him his machine would not be able to program it. That made me worry so I took it to my Mazda dealer who said that sometimes they look real but are fake. So he said he would have the technician try to program it first before cutting the key. But I would still have to pay $140 bucks for the programming evening it failed. Again I was worried.Thankfully it worked and I saved money! It would have cost almost $300 to buy from the dealership!

Worked great. Beware Mazda dealers
Dealer didn’t want to cut the blank key (because it wasn’t bought from them) so I had to buy another blank.. but the electronic part worked fine and this replacement key is going strong after a year. Be sure to check the FCC number to confirm compatibility. I’ve had to buy and program two of these and they both work great.
