Strings too short
*UPDATE* this canopy was only used for summer and taken down over winter. We put it back on in the spring and it’s completely ruined after this season. Holes, color faded, and I’ll complain again about the stupid short strings that have actually completely ripped off!The canopy itself is what I wanted. The color is vibrant and looked just like the picture. My biggest complaint is the ties that are supposed to wrap around the pole came with Velcro on them but they were only about 3” long. Which makes it a compliant because they were 5” apart from being able to velcro together. So I had to find some rope and tie it around each strand and then tie it down. Which was a major inconvenience to me because I am lazy and just flat out didn’t want to do all that work. But let me give you the other pros to the actual canopy. It’s thick, sturdy, and after it rains it doesn’t look like it’s stretched out like our old one.Make the stings longer and I’ll for sure buy a second one after the sun wears this one out. That is all. :)

Very Sturdy
This is way better than the last one I received. It has ties instead of velcro so it will work if your pergola has thicker posts like ours does. Has been up for a week and hasn't blown off like the last one.

love the color
*UPDATE: the color has faded completely, it's no longer red, but pink, now after only a year and a half. I won't buy again and took one star off.I love the color, but it isn't wide enough for my pergola to use the corner ties. we bought some metal poles and put them thru the edges and attatched them to the pergola poles. it has held up thru our utah windy weather. we'll see how well the color holds up thru the years.

No match for light wind and rain
It’s true; you get what you pay for. No rain holes and the Velcro ties don’t fit around the pillars. I live in Southern California where it barely rains and still fell apart.

Tie-downs are very weak
We bought this replacemet cover for our pergola and thought the price wasn't bad. But you get what you pay for. Although the cover material itself is sturdy, the tie-downs aren't. Less than a week after putting the cover on the pergola and tying the strings to the legs, 3 of the strings broke and the cover is now flapping wildly in the wind. We had to remove the cover on windy days because there's nothing to hold it down anymore.

Thin and holds water due likely will last 1 summer
I tend to replace my canopy every 2-3 years and normally pay around 45.00, like most things this year, I paid more than before and paid 70.00. Giving this canopy 2 stars because it has not rivets that allow for the water to release which means I’ll be lucky for it lasts one summer. The ties have already ripped because of the weight. I can see through the material so I’m sure the water and sun combination will cause it to dry rot faster and the weight of the water will likely cause it to rip much faster. So for the price it’s not worth lasting one summer. Would not recommend or purchase again.

Eh-it’ll last this summer
If you can afford a better one, spend the extra money, we have had ours a month and it’s already faded, blown from the wind and ripped. My husband tied them down with bungee cords, which works but defeats the purpose of being able to slide the sides up and down. And the cords look ugly bu it works. Also the top pools with water in the rain and leaks, says it’s water proof
