ZipWax Hair Removal Kit 7oz

Have used this for years and years, so simple and easy to work with. Comes in a large cake where you can break off as much as you want, drop in a small metal bowl and double boil. So simple-takes me a few minutes to melt on stove top. Don’t need a special device. Never overly stringy or sticky, spreads evenly and dries quickly. Easy to grab an edge and pull off. I hope they continue to make this for another 50 years!!

I am sure that it's been 20 years or more that I've been using Zip Wax for facial hair removal. Back in the early to mid-2000's, there was a change in the formula that rendered the product useless. Those of us that had been using this product for years were having a hissy fit. When the formula changed, I sought out other products as did other users and none of us found anything that compares to Zip Wax. We wrote letters, online reviews, etc and finally the original formula became available again and I don't know about anybody else, but I stocked up. I don't even try other products because I already know that nothing on the market beats Zip Wax. Oh and I forgot, when the formula was corrected, the company sent me a free package of ZipWax.

I use this solely for upper lip hair removal. I have tried Nair, bleaching and other wax removers. This is the best. I have used this for years. There are two ways of preparing: 1. The double boiler method. Put a chunk in a plastic container (I use the pint containers that you get soup in) and add that to a boiling pot of water for about 10 minutes. Or 2. Use the same container and cook in the microwave till it melts. Then apply with a wooden stick (blow on it a bit to cool it down). Let it sit for a minute or two and then rip off (not as painful as it sounds).Friends, unless you want a blond mustache (from bleaching) or pay $20 plus for one visit in the beauty parlor, this is the way to go!Its not the easiest to prepare and I used to pay about $7 in the local drug store. The only place I can find it is on Amazon. It’s such a great product, I don't know why they don't sell it in stores like Walmart, Target or local drug stores. I stock up on it like Elaine did with Todays Sponge on Seinfeld.

I like that the wax grabs the fine hair and leaves my skin soft and free of hair for about 6 weeks. It also works great on leg hair too.
