Second One In Less Than A Year - RUBBISH - BUY SOMETHING ELSE
21 August 2014I'm on my second one of these in less than a year.Good points;- the neat design- how it fits to your seat post or frame- brightBad points:- First one failed to work whilst out on a ride :-(I thought it was the batteries, so changed them, but no joy. That's why three stars.If the second one goes for longer without failing, I'll revise my rating.UPDATE 26 October 2014 - BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!Now the replacement device provided by Amazon when the first device went faulty has now also gone faulty. The same symptoms as the first device.I am convinced that these devices just don't like the wet, despite them having a lovely silicon skin and being designed to be attached to your seat post or seat tube (directly in the line of spray, if you don't ride with guards) the device must obviously be letting water in.Either that or the overall design just cannot stand up to the rigors of a cycle ride! (I'm a road cyclist by the way, it's not as if I am riding permanently off road, on wet or muddy trails).That is it for me, I've had less than two months of riding with this second device and when I needed it most it didn't work (again)!! I've now taken to riding with a "spare", which cost around £4 from Decathlon and works every time I need it.What's more I can't even get my money back or the faulty device replaced, something to do with the device being a replacement already??Spend your money somewhere else on something more reliable.

Worked well for a while, then hard to turn off
This is the second Knog Skink I have bought. I liked the first one, but after about a year I have problems turning it off after use. It might be that some water has entered, as the cover is less tight after changing battery a couple of times. The light is fairly good for the price, and a back light is a consumable for someone who cycles frequently, so price/quality is still ok.

Et puis j'ai changé les piles aaa. C'est galère pour ouvrir ce truc. Et en plus cela perd son étanchéité et cela ne marche plus. En un mot je suis déçu par ce knogg alors que j'adore cette marque.

batteria gia installato, non ho provato aprire. non sembra cosi facile, per quello 4 stelle e anche noloso discorso acqua resistente. non sembra resistente sul pioggia ma vediamo, almeno luce retro e sotto sella, sono piu preoccupato di quello fronte luce bianco
