Sylvania Stay-Lit Platinum LED Indoor/Outdoor Christmas String Lights (Various Colors & Sizes) (150ct C9 lights, Multi-Colored)

Always a fan of the 'ol C9s, I retired the incandescent sets 4 years ago to save power and went with LEDs. We re-sided the house then and went to all-warm white LEDs. 4 years I used them and not one bulb burned out. They are packed away this year, as I was happy to see they came out with LED C9s for a great price. I bought 4 sets, it turned out more than I needed, so 3 sets on top of the house and one set went on a shrub under the front window. Not even a week later, the set on the house had a bulb go out, and then half the set went dim. Got on the ladder, changed to a spare bulb on the one that was out, the rest came on, but that one light remained dim. Also to replace the bulbs it is nearly impossible as they are tiny. The C9 bulb is not, but a plastic cover you unscrew, to access the tiny led. You need needle nose pliars to get it out and then the new one never seems to snap in right. After one night, half the set went dim, and the next night it went dark. I went up and ripped that set off the house, and grabbed the set from the shrub to replace it. A week later another bulb went out on that set, but I left it alone. Yesterday, Xmas Day....The other two sets....half the set is out on BOTH! They are going in the garbage! Next year the other sets from the last 4 years are going back up.
