Good hair brush. Good length to the bristles.

As the proud owner of thick coarse totally rebellious hair I’m always looking for anything that will help tame the beast. I’d heard a lot about boar bristle brushes from various YouTube videos and did ask watch carefully when my hairdresser styled my hair to a shiny smooth Bob. I always struggle with a million tiny flyaways from regrow which makes me look like I stuck my fingers in a power socket. This brush had good reviews and although it was pricier than my normal budget styling brushes it seemed reasonable in comparison with similar products. So one order later and I’m clutching my spiky little potential new best friend. I have to say I struggled a bit at first. My hair is jaw length and I think perhaps I need a smaller sized barrel BUT I persevered, trying to replicate what my hairdresser had done. This brush grabs the hair nicely. There are plenty of dense bristles to keep the hair where you want it so that bits aren’t flying around as you dry. It took longer to style but I think that’s because I actually tried to work with the brush. The results were worth it...my hair was smooth and shiny, flyways tamed so that they couldn’t be seen. No static! I really wish I’d found this sooner as it is a godsend, also cut to a minimum the amount I had to flat iron afterwards. All I can say is on my frizz prone unruly hair this worked wonders to help tame it. Hopefully with more practice I can ditch the flat iron altogether

Have used this brush daily for 2 years. No signs of wear. Very well built and durable.

I was wary about buying this brush as it doesn't have holes in the middle if it. I've heard that for hair like mine (very very thick), holes in the brush are good. Despite this, I went for this bush and I'm so glad I did. The brush holds hair really firmly and I am extremely happy with the purchase!
