Nice bench, will meet our needs.
If you feel like you've read this review before it's because we bought two benchs from two different sellers. We gave both benches 5 points for the price and for meeting our needs. Even though this bench developed a crack in the bench top, I still feel like the wood on this bench is harder and feels sturdier. A little wood puddy should fix it up.My husband put the benches together and didn't complain too much. The drawer fit better on this bench and slides well. After giving the bench a quick sand and a couple coats of clear coat, we think it looks pretty good. Both benches are going to live in our little greenhouse (also bought on Amazon), so it won't be subject to the PNW rain and snow. The little top shelf on both benchs are too narrow. I was hoping to put 4" pots on it, but the saucers won't fit. Altogether, I was suprised how much we were able to get on the bench top and lower shelf. I can't imagine keeping it outside in the elements, but I believe that it will hold up fine for our greenhouse needs. We paid more for this bench, despite the crack in the top, this was the better bench. Purchased February 2023

Perfect for your gardening needs!
Bought this for my wife as a gift. She absolutely loves it. We store this bench outside and we weather coated it ourselves. We didn't want to risk it getting battered by the elements. Easy to assemble and is very sturdy.

Not bad for the price
I’ll start by saying I really like this bench and once it’s put together it looks really nice, just as pictured. It’s what you would expect for the price, however. It’s definitely a 2 person job to build, and there were no pre-drilled holes so it was somewhat a guessing game of making sure the pieces lined up correctly. We used a drill and it wasn’t too bad aside from the wood splitting in some spots. Otherwise, the directions were very easy to follow and took about 1 hour start to finish. It definitely made from very cheap wood but feels pretty sturdy once together and has a good amount of space. For the price, I am happy with the purchase and would probably recommend.

Perfect size
I use this in my outdoor kitchen/ garage as a prep table. I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. The wood is thin and cheap. Twice, the screw splintered the wood. It's a good height and length. The depth is sufficient for a large cutting board. It is sturdy enough to cut meat on. It's fairly easy to clean but I plan on applying a sealant anyway. Overall, I am satisfied with the value and would recommend.

Love it.
Fantastic little potting bench! As an avid planter, both indoor and outdoor, this is used a lot! By back got tired of squatting down in my drive way for hours potting a bunch of plants. This is so much easier on the back, the sink is SO convenient and wastes so much less soil. Plus it’s actually quite cute and the wood smells really good.Pay attention to the directions though, they’re the ikea style with pictures and the alphabet. I put one side on backwards and didn’t realize it until I had a good chunk put together and has to disassemble back to that point. It took about an hour to assemble.

Sturdiness subjective.
I had read of others having assembly issues and split wood etc. I fortunately did not encounter that. The wood is a softer wood and I would highly recumbent sealing it with a good finish. Definitely not weather proof. Im using it in a greenhouse and still feel it needs a good finish put on it. As far as its sturdiness? I wouldn't use it for more than gentle repotting. Id be concerned about placing any real weight on it. I pilot drilled for the screws and used wood glue to assemble. This kept the wood from splitting as others had commented. The glue also offered a more sturdy end product and I assembled it on a flat surface always making sure things were coming out nice and level and square as I went. It's soft wood. But in the end it looks decent and will serve its purpose. A little short for me. I'm 6'1" But the primary user is 5'4" so should be perfect for her. I wouldn't plan on using it for anything heavy. Price? Well ..... high. Like the rest of the world we live in now.

Durability if left outside
Being a Carpenter it was no problem to assemble this potting table however sanding and applying a finish to the multitude of parts was very time consuming. The OEM finish is very thin and would not last long at all if exposed to the weather and the top should be covered with something like vinyl flooring to extend its lifespan and keep water out of the wood grain. Overall the table is very handy and the actual wood is better than I expected and if assembled correctly, glued and caulked at appropriate locations it becomes quite stable. The price was fair and we like it.

Expensive for what you get.
Did not really expect great quality based on prior customer reviews but was disappointed with major wood damage right on the counter top that is in plain view. Decided to try to fix instead of returning the whole package as no doubt another unit would likely be damaged too. Also this unit is NOT made to keep outdoors unless it is well covered. Cheap wood cannot take the weather in my opinion. Overall disappointing but got what we expected. Btw do yourself a favour and have two people help to assemble AND have a cordless power screwdriver to make the job easier. The instructions were OK but NO narrative at all. Pay attention to the exact details you see in the illustrations.
