Adams Hitch Pin for Trail-A-Bike

This is the required connector pin for a trail-a-bike I got cheap.It looks as though it will work, I wish the nut was self locking or the clip design a little more secure looking like the retainer on our bike trailer, but I am assuming that the design has proven out since they have used it for years.I won't be able to test it until spring when, hopefully, my daughter will be big enough to ride it.

The pin I received looks different than picture shown, which is what my lost pin used to look like. Not to worry, as it still fits perfectly and comes with a little lanyard so that I wouldn't lose it again. The nut seems tighter as it's more like a lock nut that's harder to loosen.I like the combination of both the nut and the clip. If somehow one comes undone, no disaster to my kid.

I picked up a free trail a bike on NextDoor that was missing the mounting parts to attach to the parent bike. I needed the seat post clamp and pin. Both are identical to the original parts.

We got a trail behind bike attachment and it needed this pin. It does the job it needs to.

It's OEM so you can't go wrong. The updated pin has a metal lock nut that can be unscrewed by hand. I prefer to one in the picture however, but it's all the same really.

Got a trail bike from craigslist. When I got home, noticed I was missing parts. This is one of them that I needed. Got it just in time for the weekend ride.
