Worst showerhead ever
We purchased this for a new shower we were having installed in a home we just purchased so it would be done before we moved in, and to say I am disappointed is an understatement! The handle on the small head is so long that the hose hits the wall, or else you have to turn the entire unit so it flows at an extremely high angle. Not good for short people. Worst of all, it LEAKS. Constant drip, drip, drip. We have had the original installer come and he couldn't fix it. We have a plumber now trying to fix it, he changed the valve, and he couldn't stop the leak. This has become the most expensive, useless excuse for a good product that I have ever had the bad luck to purchase, and it's too late to return it. In fact, the return time was so short that we were barely moved in before it ran out. My recommendation is, DON'T BUY IT!

it's ok
It's ok. Delta T17264-RB-I Ashlyn Monitor 17 Series Shower Trim with In2ition Two-in-One Handshower Showerhead, Venetian Bronze It is a nice looking faucet and I like the 2 lever control (1 for temp/ 1 for pressure) That's a good idea.I have a few issues.I am pretty disappointed it costs $60 more than the standard model for a bronze finish.I appreciate it has a Pressure balance valve to help protect from sudden changes in hot or cold water fluctuations as water is used elsewhere in the home. However, the water never gets hot, it's only lukewarm, even with the temp control set to hottest setting. Is that how it is supposed to work?If I can't get hot water I doubt the curled up hose is ever going to "relax" and hang straight. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have some troubleshooting tips? or advice?

Mine came with a revised hose. I used a longer arm. Very Happy.
I read a lot of complaints about a plasticy hose that wouldn't straighten out. Mine came with a metallic hose that is very compliant, and has no memory effect. So I'm guessing Delta upgraded the hose in this package based on consumer feedback.Based on reviews, I threw away the 5" arm included with this set and bought a 10" arm elsewhere before even installing it, and it works well. Granted, our shower is oversized, so there isn't a space issue. 10" is generous, I think even an 8" would work well.I was planning on removing the flow restrictor based on the 'low flow' reviews, but I've found that the flow is actually very good when using the center shower head only. It's a full and crisp stream of water that is more than sufficient. But I do agree that when using the larger fixed shower head, and/or when using both shower heads at the same time, the flow is anemic. I might pull the restrictor to see how much it improves those modes, but I also don't want to use 150 gallons of water every day (three kids use this shower), so I'm on the fence. I'll probably leave it as is since the center shower head works well. It's just a waste of hardware, because in this scenario, the larger shower head will never be used.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this set, it looks good and performs well.

What we did to increase the water pressure
This is a nice shower head - very sturdy, the hose is very flexible and long; however the water flow was awful - once we found & removed the 3 water restricters (?) the water pressure was better than our old shower head.

Just a complete peice of junk!
What a very nice looking faucet! On the website. Then you get it and realize it's plastic!I will NEVER buy another Delta. I have 2 more bathrooms to remodel and I will not pay $300 for plastic. Then when I get everything in (which was very fast thank you Amazon) the hand held section is chrome so it doesn't match the rest of the faucet.I spent 50 minutes on the phone with very nice customer representatives and they sent the correct hand held. I think. It was shipped through UPS Surepost that is delivered to the post office then delivered to the final destination. That was Tuesday and today is Friday and still no final delivery.Don't go cheap when replacing your screwup. You could have spent a few more bucks and had UPS deliver it to me days earlier.Don't buy this unless you're looking for an expensive, cheap product.

Great flow and options in sprays
I installed this for a customer on a remodel job and liked it so much that I got one for myself. It has a great variety of settings on the wand from wide spray down to a narrow stream. Plus the option to use the wand, the halo ring or both together. The hose is chromed plastic but Delta has metal hoses available. The metal hoses look the same but are stronger, more flexible and lay flat. The plastic hoses stiffen up until they warm up so they do not always lay flat due to memory.

Contractor coming - can't return now or I would
I thought shower components were supposed to be metal. Guess I was wrong. This setup is not good. If I were not stuck with the contractor coming to install and can't get a replacement fast enough I would have returned this. The part where the hand held clips into the other showerhead is unbelievably hard to work. If we installed that it would have ripped the thing off the wall - it is that hard to remove and replace. The valve trim handle is metal on the large handle but plastic on the other - why can't they make both pieces out of metal? How long is this going to last before the plastic fades or gets scratched? The worst part is the tub filler part. That is 100% plastic. It looks like finger prints will stick to it a lot. It is hard to wipe off the fingerprints. Time will tell if we replace that. We already bought another showerhead with handle to replace this one. We are stuck because we thought for the price it would be a quality part. The only reason we didn't return it is we need the valve and thought the idea of being able to switch out the trim at a later date was a great idea. Hopefully we don't regret this later.

Fairly easy to install, but works and looks great when complete
The only issue I had installing the product is that it does not have all the "inner components" pre-installed. Made it a little more difficult when installing in a existing bathroom without proper shut-offs. The kit comes with all that you need except the brass fitting for the tub faucet. It took a few tries to get the hot water control where we wanted it, but it is a trial and error thing. Looks great when complete. Nice Matte Black finish. The operation to switch from handle to shower head is simple.

Delta Ashlyn Monitor 17 Series Shower Kit - Honest Contractor Review
Installed a few of these in a customers houses and product quality ends up being the complaint.Main issues tend to be:1. The shower head is difficult to swivel2. the handles for the temp control and water on/off get loose3. the removable shower handheld is difficult to fit back into place once removed4. The hose for the handheld is way too stiff which also contributes to the difficulty in re-positioning the handheldPros:1. materials used are pretty good for the shower head, escutcheon plate and shower flange from the wall2. Looks nice when installedConclusion: Decent overall but disappointing considering the Delta name and actual real life functionality.

Looks good but I expected better from Delta
The shower itself looks good but as other reviewers have said, it's plastic and the showerhead detaches easily. What bugs me the most is that the Cold/Hot water red and blue dots are reversed. We'll get used to it but we'll have to remember to tell every single person outside our family that uses the shower. The alternative is to get the lines switched in the basement. It's not world-ending but it's a bummer when I spent a lot of money to renovate my bathroom.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!
I understand that we're in the middle of a pandemic...but the price I paid because every store was out of product (no kidding the sales rep told me my only option was Amazon)...was astronomical!!! No value for that price! I've since seen the same model for half the price I paid!

Great budget product
Great budget shower for a budget reno but a warning that the shower arm is very long so it doesn't work for a smaller shower like a 36 x 36. I bought a short 3" ceiling arm and it worked much better.

Good
Works great. Looks great. Been using for 7 months no issues. Did have to buy a new hose because the one that comes with it is plastic and bends all over the place.
