Great entry point for new players
Other reviewers have posted lists of the cards they received and a breakdown of the contents of this set, so I will forgo that here. This product is designed as an entry point for new players to the game, and it is an amazing product for that purpose. This will give you everything you need to build your first deck and get you set to play in the standard format. I paired this with a Fat Pack from the set and easily built two playable decks with plenty to spare. You aren't going to win any pro events with what you get here, but you will build a solid foundation which you can expand on later by buying packs or singles. If you are new to the game, then I highly recommend this product.Just a warning, though: the most popular form of Magic at events where you use your own pre-built deck is the standard format, and in that format the sets rotate out of eligibility. This set is currently eligible in that format, but after about a year many of these cards won't be eligible for that format. They are still allowed in many other formats and for casual play, though. I just wanted to include this warning in case you are reading this review in 2016.

Nice foundation for that series, but only buy one unless you really like the cards and want some duplicates
My son and I both bought one toolkit for each of us. Sure enough buying two gives you now a 2nd, 3rd or 4th of some of the cards provided from the Deckbuilder. That isn't a bad thing because there are some respectable cards, even commons, provided in this set. Thus having multiples allows for more chance of filling a deck with multiples of a good card.Math-wise here is how I value this purchase (NOTE: I could be full of it here, but in my limited knowledge it works for me):1. I paid $18.30 total, including tax and shipping.2. This box includes four booster packs (1 Nix, 2 Born of the Gods and 1 Core 2015) @ $3 per booster to get 4 rares at least = using $12 of the $18. Not bad.So what more do I get for the remaining $6.3. The toolkit itself provides are at least one Mythic and several rares.4. My boosters gave me another Mythic, which is a bonus!5. The box holds a good number of cards6. You can always use some new black border landSo for me, this toolkit was totally worth it!!NOTE: Just by itself you cannot make an "very good" deck, but you can have enough variety of colors and types of cards you could put a basic deck or two together and play.I added in 9 more various booster packs and had a much better variety of card to build decks with.A couple of youtube videos will always tell you that if you know what cards you want, buy the individual cards and build your deck. You will always get more for your money and zero junk. That may be true. But for those of us returning to the game (15yr hiatus) or new to the game or without much of a collection of cards, this is a great place to start building your own decks.Value-wise I think it's worth it. . .at least for me.

Very Happy
This is an excellent set for a brand new or returning player. I played when I was younger, then took several years off, and purchased this when I decided to start playing again. At under $20, even if you end up hating the game, you're not out very much. Plus, as an added bonus to old players like me, they included reprints of classic rare cards like Shivan Dragon and Sengir Vampire (now an Uncommon), but with the M15 symbol on the card.If you're a regular player, unless you want the reprint rares, there's really no point in buying this (and I'm sure you can buy the rares separately anywhere). The booster packs I got were Dragon Maze, Theros, Core Set 2015, and Born of the Gods. The Theros pack actually had a foil Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver planeswalker, which was quite a surprise. I checked Amazon; the one card is worth more than I spent on the kit. I'm gonna keep it, though.I ended up supplementing this with a M15 Fat Pack (more lands, 9 boosters, spindown counter, deck boxes, storage box); combined both only set me back about $50. I'm pretty happy with the decision.

Great product, delivered in time but is it for you?
I'm new to the game and the description provided was exactly what I recieved on time. Recommended for those new who wish to explore the colors of the game but note that it will be very difficult to compete against those with experience of the game. Good starting point though.

The order came fairly quickly which was great. Although
The order came fairly quickly which was great. Although, it was not within 2 days as requested. It was however within the week so I was happy to receive my package. The product itself was decent. There are a lot of cards in it. I would say there could be a few less lands, and more useful cards. I don't think there is enough to build a decent deck. But it is a good start. All in all not a bad product, and the service was decent. I would purchase from this seller again.
