I bought this elastic to make face masks and chose this particular listing as you get more than double the amount you would get for the same price in other listings. Upon opening the package the elastic didn't seem tangled but once I started trying to actually use it the tangling commenced! I ended up cutting to elastic into 5 metre lengths to make the untangling process faster so I didn't really mind extra chore. I received 57 metres in total so that's an extra 7 metres of elastic as a bonus which is nice.The elastic itself is sturdy and looks the same as the type used on disposable face masks. It's easy to cut and sew onto material and is also very soft and comfortable behind the ears. I would highly recommend this product.

[3mm, 50m]Flat Elastic Band, SlickMart Braided Stretch Strap CordI bought this to use in making face masks during the Covid 19 epidemic.The elastic is perfectly suited to the job.Easy to attach to the mask because my sewing machine can easily sew through the elastic.Comfortable for your ears, soft and with a good stretch - all very important characteristics when you have to wear a mask for any length of time.I recommend this for any one making their own fabric face masks. And I have plenty for other uses too since it comes as a 50m bundle!

Great product for face masks. Nice and soft. Also next day delivery. However.....When it arrives, its just loose in bag, not wrapped around anything. Within a few minutes I had a spectacular 'birds nest ' took me absolutely ages to untangle.My advice, is to find an end, and mark it with a pen or something and wrap the whole lot around something, the only thing I had handy was an empty plastic water bottle so I used this , it worked quite well.

Unbelievable amount of elastic on my order tangled easily but I wound it all on to a large spool I had. Lots of stretch with it and soft and supple. Excellent value for money. Only one thing was it was advertised as flat but in reality was round but this worked out in my favour

Been making masks for everyone I know - the elastic is crucial for comfort especially if it goes round the ears rather than the head. This elastic is perfect.

In our new normal world of wearing face coverings, having a good supply is essential so out came the sewing machine and away I went. The elastic I initially used was a bit hard going on the ears when wearing the face covering for any length of time but when I got this, not only is it easy to use, either when sewing it in or knotting it, it's very comfortable behind the ears. Would definitely recommend.

1st batch that i purchased was really nice and soft, feels like cotton so i decide to order it again but somehow the 2nd order that i received is not soft at all. Quite disappointed.
