you get what you pay for.
I love to deal hunt on amazon, sometimes I get great buys sometimes I get burnt. this will fall under my burnt category. So I consider myself more than handy, but having a hard time with this one. worked for the first couple uses, then a screeching and squealing sound plus no worky, so I proceeded to tear apart slowly. Wire was push inside the machine, a lot of it. so I cleared this jam tried again, the wheel that runs the cable through was not strong enough or I had a jam in my line. went with jam first, manually pushing the wire it continually got hung up about a foot or two in, so I cut the guide cable stuffed the power cables further in, not fixed. so this time I opened the cable drive gear box. Little kiddy plastic gears, but non were striped one was wobbly in its holder, little jb weld, all back together....pow worked great....for two jobs then click click squeal squeal . I just tried a new cable little bigger and back to normal length, nothing. going back in tomorrow to look at gear box(delayed by injections in my lower back a couple days). Now thinking maybe should have dropped a little more cash into a welder, pretty sure I have tore this apart to much to return. If I get this working I will let others know.Ok so after about 30 dollars more spent it is the drive system with its little plastic gears that is the failure, had the wire where it would effortlessly run through with my fingers pushing it and when I put it back to it drive system would not push it. Almost took a axe to it but I guess I might need some parts from it some time. I will keep it two starts because every other aspect works good on this, the wire is always hot but its not that big of a deal. I hope that mine was just a bad part, but buying this is like rolling the dice, Good Luck.

It does the Job
This welder makes really messy beads. You can not expect beauty if you are not using the gas shield though. I recommend this for tiny jobs and tacking but nothing major. I have only used it a few times and so far it does the job but I was working with eighth inch rods so just a tiny job. I ordered it on Thursday and received it on Tuesday so that was great. My main draw back is how cheap the handle on top is. It comes unattached and you have to attach it but apparently you also have to put a bolt in it that my package did not come with. Consequently when I carried it a ways the handle slipped off broke and the machine fell on my ankle. It is pretty heavy for its size. Other than my cheap broken handle and the low work load limit I would say that overall this is a good tool while the construction is nice looking and seems to be durable.

Highly pleased for the price.
This welder is a heck of a deal. It is great for home use. I used it to make a welding table so far, it had excellent pentration and heat. Even with the schedule40 2" pipe being 1\8" over the ratings it still penetrated beautifully. Now I recommend this if you don't have a chipping hammer or extra welding wire it would be best to buy it. The wire that came with it was junk the skale would not surface and it balled up very badly. This welder comes with a face shield I recommend for anyone who is serious about strong nice welds to get a welding helmet. This machine has two heat settings 90amps and 63.3amps, I don't recommend it for anything smaller than 3\16". The gun is slightly smaller than a standard might tortch, the torch fits contact tips for Lincolns and millers.

For the price it's not bad. I don't know a lot about welding
For the price it's not bad. I don't know a lot about welding, but I had my buddy help me. The only thing is, make sure you have a stable power supply. I mean most people probably do have a decent power supply, but I had to use this in my garage and even for only 90 amps, 120v it tripped my fuse box more times than I can count if we welded continuously for too long. Still pretty good product and my situation may not be true for everyone, so do not let that discourage you from buying it. For the price and for what it is, it is a pretty decent purchase.

Great tool, very good value.
This is a nice welder. The mask it comes with isn’t great because you have to hold it and I need both hands to weld, but some goggles for $6.99 wasn’t a big deal. The welder has 4 setting high, low and 1 and 2. You can adjust the feed of the soft metal weld. I make tattoo machines and it works perfect for this. But it can do much larger jobs. Weld safe a little messy with this type so it’s not the brands fault.

90 Amp Wire Feed Mig Welder
This is a fine welder for the price. Have done a few different jobs with it and it has held up well. The only drawback I had was to remove the tension spring on the wire spool to get the wire to feed freely. This is my first wire feed unit and with a little practice I was laying down a good smooth bead in no time flat. I have repaired a job box lid and installed a new exhaust system on my son's Cherokee truck without any overheating issues. The included plastic handheld style face shield came in useful when I hit a tight spot were my helmet would not fit. The tip does get dirty so you might plan on using an anti splatter nozzle gel and get a tip cleaning kit if you don't have one handy. The unit was packaged well and arrived in good condition.

get what you pay for
Shipping was fast, easy to set up and use. Definitely get different wire than what they give you buy other than that the machine is good for small hobbies and around the house stuff
