These are my favorite!
I feel like these are really great quality. They work really well, so you need to have your jars or bags already prepared with food, then pop these little guys in, then hurry and vacuum seal. I actually vacuum seal these in a jar before I even begin to seal the food jars, because I don't want them to absorb too much oxygen. I like that this brand comes with a packet on how to use them!

PackFresh - the oxygen absorbers of choice
The order arrived promptly and in good condition. I've used oxygen absorbers for a significant number of years but not this brand. Having what I believed to be an above average knowledge of what oxygen absorbers are, how they're used, and what they do, I was surprised to read in the enclosed pamphlet that what I'd been told was not quite accurate in terms of the absorption required for common foods, particularly in larger containers. And what I see in the chart makes sense. I was pleased to find out that there is a security buffer of 180% of the packet's rating. I don't know if the brand I've been using has this rating as there has never been an information pamphlet included. I can appreciate that PackFresh developed a well-thought through document to include with their product. Additionally, there was a discount on my next order included. And there will be not just one next order but many more to come. I feel confident using this product for long-term food storage. PackFreshUSA 100cc Oxygen Absorbers (100) with PackFreshUSA LTFS Guide

Can't Live Without Them!
My kitchen isn't complete without them! I'm not a doomsday prepper, just a normal retired single person watching every penny I spend. These little packets are essential in keeping foods fresh. I use them in mason jars which I also remove air from with a FreshSaver. They are also great for eliminating freezer burn -- just refrigerate for a day or two to allow the OAPs to work. If it isn't a liquid and you want to keep it fresh, include these in your storage routine.

Know how to use these.
As soon as you open the bag, put the bag with all the oxygen absorbers into a zip lock bag. If you don't, they will quickly get warm and the moisture sensor paper will turn blue. It doesn't mean they are bad, just that they are reacting to the air you exposed them to. Just be careful that each time you take one out of the bag, that you seal the rest of them back in the zip lock bag again as quickly as possible. I would also recommend vacuum sealing any of the extras left over.

You have to use them fast when exposed to air
This product is as advertisedBut you have to get everything ready before you open the bag they will start deteriorating quickly hurry up and have a mason jar nearby to put the remainder inTip... buy small quantities at a time so they don't go bad as quick

A Time AND Money Saver!
I am new to dehydrating vegetables, and this has really simplified the process for me. I didn't want to haul out my vacuum sealer, and use the expensive bags. Now I just use some of my Ball jars (I have a bunch left over from canning last year) ... much simpler. Just pop in 1 or 2 Oxygen Absorbers and call it done. A great product at a great price!
