Nice looking, takes up little space and holds a lot. Well constructed.

Got this for the daughter with a postage-sized kitchen. It holds all her "big" chef-style knives admirably, but the little paring knives have a tendency to fall over--not out--just over.It's heavier than I thought it would be, which is a good thing, as it won't knock over, and the slots are more robust--the knife blades do not touch at all. Its counter "footprint" is about as small as it gets, which is just what we were looking for.I didn't figure out how to take it apart to clean it--afraid of forcing something by pulling too hard-- that is a bit of a drawback. No instructions either. So not sure which end comes loose.

It's still in good condition after over 12 months. The fixed plastic slots limits how many knives I can easily place in it. I've upgraded to one w/o fixed slots.

Not able to remove the top/bottom to clean as seen on the display page.Ask seller and did not rceive any anwer.Also not all the knife is fitted...

I'm able to fit all of my commonly used knives. I like how the center positions have a slightly narrower opening which adds friction to short knives, preventing them from tilting/falling. Also, the base is weighted to prevent it from toppling over. Regarding cleaning, I was going to return it, thinking the top and bottom pieces were not removeable but it turns out that those pieces are installed REALLY tight. I still haven't been able to remove the top, but as long as I can remove the bottom, I'm OK with that.

One thing I didn't think about much before I started using this knife holder is that the most weight in a knife is in the handle. Therefore, there isn't enough weight in the blade itself to force the knives to hang straight. My chef's knife often leans to one side or the other. Otherwise, it's a beautiful holder, I love the simple design, and it holds all of my knives easily.

Finally I can organize all my knives in one knife block including a 3.5 mm chinese cleaver. The seller has specifically stated that any knife thickness greater than 2.5 mm will not fit. But I carefully removed one piece of plastic on the right and hurray the chinese cleaver fit in perfectly. This knife block has a beautiful stainless steel finish externally. Highly recommend this seller - fast response to issues and communicative. Very happy with this product. Thanks to Patrick’s review and video I learn how to remove the top and bottom pieces easily otherwise it would have been difficult.

This knife block is compact, does not use a lot of bench space, but still holds plenty of knives and a pair of scissors. It is deep enough for even the largest knives, and looks good.

The photos clearly show that it opens at the top and the bottom, but it does not open at either. Hate it when advertised photos are not accurate.Also, the ugly line in the stainless steel case is at the front! Unless you want your scissors to not be accessible, you have to have the ugly line staring at you. Very poorly designed.Do not recommend.

Fits all my knives and looks good. Very happy.
