lucid and insightful
Mr. Pierce, drawing from his own experience with Shaktipat given by Muktananda, skillfully shares an informative point of view about awakening and liberation that is bona fide. Of course this is my opinion (it is my own review after all) but I have searched, read, interviewed and experienced enough to see the pattern that reveals authenticity. The idea of "Eternity is in love with the product of Time." and how our physical experiences in this realm when approached with skill develop our ability to create in the causal realm is genius that I haven't experienced since Gurdjieff, Rodney Collins and Tantra Buddhism. If you are serious about liberation, this is a must read.

About centering
I like how the author brings light to many aspects of finding more understanding of ourselves from the Heart Center. It has helped me to be less arrogant about my spiritual beliefs from a humble open-hearted perspective. The author gave much of an account of his life and showed by example what is not easy to put in words. Life, living comes from within and not from what is shown without.

Illuminating
Like all Joseph Chilton Pearces's books, this one is a great work. Even if not as ground breaking as"The Crack in the Cosmic Egg" or the "Biology of Transcendence" it still deserves a solid 5 stars rating

Excellent Description of Unchartered Experience (Shaktipat)
Very few people have had full Shaktipat experiences and fewer still that can write about it clearly and authentically. The author succeeds in doing both.James Abro, author, An American Yoga: The Kripalu Story

Joseph always blows my socks off
This is one of those JCP books where you read about concepts you didn't even realize were concepts until he puts them in front of you.

A Wonderful Book
I always love Pearce's books, but this one was especially inviting and easy to read. Few people cut through all the tangled and unnecessary cognitive debris we tend to accumulate on a daily basis like Joseph Chilton Pearce can. And this book also offered more of a window into his personal spiritual journey than his other books have. Now I know more about the source of his wisdom. I can heartily recommend this book to anyone who has read any of Joe's other books and enjoyed them. And I advise everyone to ignore the one star rating of the other reviewer.
