Great product.

Very high quality and easy to install box. Feels like it will keep the rain out nicely. Connectors all felt strong. Tested after installing with a 10000 watt generator with the whole house running. Worked perfectly.

Allen key tightens up the wires. A 6” T-handle is ideal. Everything else was good.

Works great as intended

First of all, this is a quality intent box from an American manufacturer. The construction is thick and the components seem to be of a decent quality. However, with thicker gauge wire it’s a bit snug to get everything buttoned up. I had to feed through the back of the box. I think the bottom port would definitely be easier because of one less bend. Overall still very happy with it.

Easily installed, sufficient room for 6 gauge conductors (it will accommodate 4 gauge). Not sure about previously noted problems with wire size and connecting the generator cord. This was one of the easiest 6 gauge installs and my generator cord inserts and locks with no issues. Maybe they were using a cheap import cord?

This brand came recommended by my electrician for generator inlet box. I went with 50 amp instead of 30 to future proof the generator setup. Installation for a panel with interlock kit went through w/o any issues.

Bought this box to replace a 30 amp inlet box that was mounted to the house when we purchased it in early 2021. This box was very easy to install on the brick exterior of the house. I added a thick rubber washer between the box and the brick at the top screw to allow the top to easily slide down over the box. I also used #6 wire and had no problem with the thicker wire. I followed the advice of another rater and made a 45 degree bend in the wire about an inch from the end, before removing the insulation. Once the insulation is removed the wire fits very nicely into the hole and lies parallel to the plane of the back of the inlet receptacle and the box. Completing the assembly was not that difficult after the wires were securely attached to receptacle. Also, I only left about 6 inches of wire in the box, just enough to work with. An electrician quoted me $900+ to install the box and connect to the transfer switch. Time to head down to Lowe’s to buy the generator.

Très bien fait me sert pour faire fonctionner une Génératrice. La prise mâle encastré est bien faite. Par contre j’aurais aimer avoir un petit sachet de graisse diélectrique. Car la connexion se fait très bien pour un Ampérage de 50Ampères. Sauf quand on vient pour la retirer plus difficile et sais normal car il faut que sa fasse un très bon contact. Donc la graisse diélectrique à mettre tout autour de la fiche femelle et mâle. Très bon produit .

Good product. Wiring from the back is a little difficult when using 6-gauge wires.

Produit de qualité avec une solide garantie. Le clapet n'ayant un ressort avec une tension moyenne fait en sorte que lorsque le fil est connecté il n'y aucune tension sur ce dernier.

You tube folk recommended going for the copper cone toons. Only 50 amp one on Amazon
