Had they eliminated all Carpal Tunnel symptoms, I'd give them 5 stars. They haven't eliminated all symptoms, but they have eliminated A LOT. So, 4 stars. And, when this pair wears out, I'll buy them again.So I recommend them to you, not as a miracle cure, but as something that will hopefully relieve a lot of your discomfort (as they did for me).----------------Update, September 2013:Several months ago (maybe even as long as a year ago), I switched my mouse to the stationary type where you move the mouse pointer with your thumb. In other words, you don't move your arm or wrist at all, you just position your mouse at a comfortable location and let your thumb and fingers do the work. I still wore the Imak glove.It took some time, so long that I didn't really notice it happening, but today my Carpal Tunnel symptoms have all but disappeared, and I very rarely have to wear the Imak glove. If you use a computer frequently, you might want to give this a try.

This brace is soft, comfortable, easy to wash, and does a great job supporting my injured hand while I do computer tasks. It's perfect for that, and the little cushion keeps me from straining to put my hand in a comfortable position when typing or using a mouse. Getting two together? Genius. Makes it easy to wash them regularly, or keep one at the desk and one at home.You will need more braces than just this one. It's not rigid enough for serious support long-term, and the cushion that's so helpful for typing is cumbersome and awkward for other tasks, like eating or holding a book. The brace doesn't restrict downward movement very much, so if you are trying to stop the motions that cause pain and damage, this isn't restrictive enough.

These have really improved my hand and wrist pain, worn only intermittently for two weeks. They are comfortable to wear *see note below*, and do not noticeably restrict movement. The fit is perfect, measure around your hand above thumb crease to get the correct size. I think I had to go to the IMAK website to get instructions for sizing. My hand is avg to large for a woman, average wrist size (6-3/4"), hand measures 7-3/4" around, ring size 8, if that helps. (Size Medium bought)I did have to sew on a swatch of black fleece to cover the label that is sewn on so that it irritated the back of my hand above the knuckles. If you don't sew, a snippet of soft fabric can be safety-pinned on top and tucked under when you put them on. I imagine I could have just removed the labels, but they seem to be placed at the base of the stays, and may offer reinforcement so the stays don't tear through the fabric.

Fit good. A little tight on one hand but stretched out after a few days.

The Imak gloves are the only reason I am able to type this review. I am an editor by trade and constantly on the computer. While nerve tests have not confirmed carpal tunnel, I do have nerve damage in my wrists and "overuse syndrome" in both my thumbs. Without the gloves, I can only work for 10 minutes before my hands literally shut down. When I wear the gloves, I can work an endless amount of hours. This product truly is a God send. I highly recommend it for anyone who is constantly on the computer or keyboard of any type.

The glove is not for either hand. I recieved 2 right hand gloves. I thought the glove would be stiffer. I had to replace the back of the hand stiffner with a padded aluminum finger splint and put the stiffner on the palm side. Other than the modifications I made the glove does what I want.

A must for anyone working regularly on a computer. My wrists are constantly in pain and so I can no longer type or use my laptop without the gloves. But using them, the world is a different place. The gloves are magical, eliminating discomfort and pain and allowing me to work for hours on laptop. Don't work without them.

I bought these gloves because I have a trigger finger (right thumb) and I though they would help relieve the pain. But when I wear them, my thumb gets numb. I hope I could still use them when my trigger finger get better. The items arrived on time and in good packaging
