I’ve been growing out my natural hair color, and so far this product helps soften the growth line in my hair. (Black tank — before application, blue shirt — after)I have had lowlights professionally added to the lower parts of my hair to help connect the previously-highlighted sections back to the natural color.The cool dark blonde color felt too dark for me, I may experiment with the dark neutral blond.I have a few stray grey hairs and this will temporarily cover them, but gray coverage is not my personal goal.Note: I have been sent the wrong shade a few times, and this product is occasionally slow to ship. For its price and overall impact, it’s still a great product.

…package arrived clearly opened and then taped shut. I checked the product inside and none had been used, but 2 stars off for the sloppy packaging.I’ve used this product before and it works great. If you have grays, you’ll probably need to leave it on for extra time. It also helps to use a clarifying shampoo for a few days before coloring, and make sure your hair is 100% clean, no conditioner or styling products, on the day you color. It helps the product absorb into the hair shaft.

Buying haircolor in stores is such a trying experience. Most often the color/tone I need is never in stock. I have used Natural Instinct for years. Then I switched to salon color because it was so hard to find the right color at the drugstore or grocery store or beauty store. But I never really liked spending that kind of money at a salon and often the results were not what I wanted.I have gray hair outlining my face. With the Natural Instincts, the color blends well with the gray, giving my a highlighted look. I love the conditioner as well. If you use a dollop the size of a large marble, it does the job and the results are soft, shining, a fluffy hair. For just beyond shoulder length hair that is fine, I couldn't be happier.And now it's time to order more! Thanks for having the product on hand. I appreciate that.

I use to get med. golden blond but switched to this. love it

My hair was yellow from a bad highlighting session. I put this over it and I feel like it looks sooo much better!! It toned me golden just how I wanted!

Does not cover white hair

The color isn't quite right for me, but so easy to try another similar color the next month. COVID hair!

I ended up going back to the nasty stuff. I probably have too much grey for this.
