Size:5 KG These de-gummed fibers came from the stalk of the hemp plant. They're natural, organic and clean and therefore hypoallergenic. These fibers are now thin enough for spinning alone or blended with other fibers. De-gummed hemp fiber is soft absorbent and may be used as a natural batting or stuffing for furniture upholstery or pillows. We've also used in for the making of our pet bedding. The benefits of these fibers for the suggested use are pretty amazing because their natural properties lend them to be anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, & anti-static which yields a product that doesn't off-gas like most synthetic products and is also breathable which allows air to flow through harmoniously breaking down the collection of fungus that creates that mildew smell. Hence, expect pillows and furniture made using such natural materials will result in a fresher product. The hemp is imported from China grown by a small cooperative of hemp farmers.
