Great product
I have had one of these for 2 years to trickle charge my tractor battery during the long spans of non use. It worked very well. The only thing I wish it did have is a led light to let me know if my connection is good with the cigarette lighter socket and is charging correctly.

Sunforce is a Great Force of Solar Power!
I really like this solar panel. I am using it to keep the 12 volt battery charged up on my 1970 VW Beetle. It sits a lot, and seems to drain the battery fairly fast, so that is why I purchased this unit. I have placed the panel on the rear deck on top of the speakers. It gets several hours of direct sunlight each day. I read a lot about solar panels and if they needed the voltage regulator (or similar hardware) to keep from over-charging the battery. All reviewers were of the opinion that NO, it does not need it because of its current output. I asked the question on amazon about the output others are getting, but received no answers. Mine is putting out 20 volts at about 6.4 amps. My heavy duty charger is only 15 volts output at 2 or 6 amps. I am following the directions of unplugging when driving the car, where others say they leave it plugged in all the time, driving or parked. I will say that when I turn the key, the engine cranks like it is a brand new, topped off battery every time! I may get another to put on my tow behind trailer to keep its battery at its peak. I have a tiny (dollar bill size) solar tender that seems to eat up its terminal clips quickly in the weather. I definitely recommend this solar panel. Its price compared to others is well worth the money you could spend. One thing on its construction, though. It is a square, aluminum frame. It has two pieces that are screwed (tiny bolts and nuts actually) on two sides. The hole appears too large for one, and was missing the tiny nut, letting the bolt roam freely in the box. Fortunately, it did not cause any damage.

Quit working
Installed on my boat hoist to charge 12 v battery. Worked fine at first, measured 12 volts. . Now output is measured by multimeter at less than one volt. I am 30 days past return date. Not happy but what to do? Will try to find paperwork to see if warranted but likely return postage won’t make it practical.

Two strikes and you're out - don't buy
This is my second coleman solar panel in two years and unfortunately both after a month's time had the same lower corner of the solar cell turn white in an area about 5 inches by 3 inches and looks like its not fully working as a result. It still puts out a trickle charge but is definitely not operating at 100% and is visible damaged from just the sun and rain. Being this is the second one with the same problem I would not recommend people buy this product. I gave it two stars instead of one because even with the damage it still puts out some charge.

Beware of the cable length
Please beware that this product is listed as coming with a 9' 5' length cable and the actual size of the cable on the one I received was only 3 ft. long. This is way to short to hook up to my car and I had to place a second order for an extension cable which was frustrating. Had the correct cable length been listed, I could have ordered both at the same time. This is the first time I have had a problem ordering something from amazon. I believe that amazon or the manufacturer should make sure that the product information is correct.

Works, just has a low charge and a lot of hassle for day to day use
Work ok for a solar charger. Ended up ditching it because it couldn’t maintain my dual battery truck. Now just have a float charger and am saving this for something else, maybe the lawn mower?
