item arrived stuffed in an envelope, and the original product packaging was ripped open inside. It looked like a shipping issue because they were so poorly packaged, and not that they had been opened and returned, so I tried them out. TERRIBLE QUALITY. The design rubs the fangs against your gums behind your upper lip. The dental wax does not fit properly, even following the directions to a tee. The trays holding the putty are not wide enough to properly fit over molars... The action involved looks WAY more obvious than the video posted on the product page shows. I am highly disappointed, feel I was cheated by the overall crappiness of this product, and strongly feel that Amazon should refuse to list this product for sale under their name. This does NOT accomplish the cool effect pictured in the video, and my resulting purchase will likely cause me to never purchase anything remotely similar through Amazon again.

I love these retractable fangs.I bought one last year and had to get another one for a collection.Heres why everybody hates these fangs.1.it hurts your gums.2.it doesn't retract well.and 3 it breaks.Heres a solution when i first bought these.1.it takes time to get used to them.the more you wear them the more you'll get used to them.2.If it doesn't retract well use water or drink water to help it slide down better because your using your tongue to retract it.and 3.if it breaks use the white putty.after you melt the white putty in hot water.put a small amount not to much but enoughputty to put inside the hole where it makes it retract down and up.If its too hard and it can't retract up or down put it in hot water and let it melt and try to retract it up and down than let it cool down.If it has too much putty in the hole try to take a little bit out.That should help it from being broken.My final thought about these fangs is I wouldn't really recommend these fangs for kids.its more like teens or adults.And most of all these are more useful if your doing a haunted house,a prank,or doing a short film movie.

it looks kinda funky with the putty. I didn’t use the putty and just used it with out. Kinda difficult to get it right but does the job. Definitely not comfortable to ware for long periods of time. if you have to get oral gel and put it where the fangs hide on the top

I bought these fangs for my Halloween costume and was sadly disappointed. The tongue bar did not work and kept sliding off of the teeth while I was trying to get the mold to form. And even though I followed the directions on how to form the mold I could not get them to sit like they were suppose to. After fighting with the mold for 10-15 minutes I just decided to use another adhesive to get the teeth to stick. They were very uncomfortable in my mouth and not even 20 minutes of wearing them I decided to remove them. The one positive thing is the teeth are made out of a durable material. Next time I will do better research.

I was super excited to use these fangs when I got them, because i ordered the 3-4 days, and it took a couple months to get to me (red flag number one), so when I opened them up and took them out of the package it was as though they had been taken apart and hot glued back together (red flag number two). I had already molded the paraffin wax to my teeth, and when I tried to fit them in my mouth, they didn't stay on my teeth (red flag number three). They were extremely uncomfortable and didn't hide under my lip.

Lovong these yes they do hurt because your shoving them into your upper lip but driniking water helps alot snd getting used to them over a couple days will as well but there really cool and mold well ive scared a few people and saying ceratain words is hard because of the thounge bar

These are better than the Scarecrow retractable fangs, the gear mechanism for up and down is controlled by the tongue which is more handy than putting the control under a tooth. The only issue with these is they are a little fragile and if you play with them like I did, you can mess up the control and then only one side will work. Great for one night use or minimal time in.

These fangs were a little complicated to figure out, the directions say to warm it up in the microwave in water, and stick into your mouth and bite down so it shapes around your teeth but it doesn't specify which teeth. I thought it would be my canine teeth but i was wrong it's your back teeth. I had to redo it. I ended up not even wearing them because even when I got it right they still felt uncomfortable. It looked cool but not comfy.
